LOL I'm not quite at that stage yet. Let's face it half a glass and I'm jabbering like a nun at rapture time.

Bahahaha! Don't give me too many black Russians. You can't shut me up!

Pish tosh, you are sweet night, not even the mason can bring out the beast in you.
On that note my dear, mama is ready for bed, Gnite all.

Peace and pixie dust to you all.

I don't get that pic and association. I bet jacy would figure it out.

You know me too well Elfy!!

My dad used to draw that when I was a kid. He called it the "Wot's Up?" guy.
That drawing is better known as "Kilroy was Here".

So yes, I knew exactly what mOjOm was referring to!

Good morning Everybody!
Lot's of pages to read this morning...wonderful to see all the chit-chat and more Troll from Sir Sage Erroll!
Would love to personally say "hello" to each of you, but not awake enough yet.

*grabs the pink donut, stumbles out of kitchen back into bushes*
It's like a mosh pit in here!!
*gets moved by a sea of hands to the back of the hedge*
"Heyyyy!!!"

That nose over the fence dude was known to me as " Foo ".

He was graffiti'd a lot with the added words ...
" Foo was here. "

Hope all are well fed and watered !!

G'morning Timely!

It's funny how some of us recognize that drawing immediately.
(Is it a Brit-based thing?) I could google it I s'pose, but I'm having coffee and oatmeal right now.
(so yeah, fed and watered, lol)

How are you doing today?

I saw this a few days ago and thought it was a perfect cake (yes, it's a cake) for the Shed and dreams of Spring soon coming to us here in the Northern Hemisphere...soon...

*sigh*
I'm longing for warmer weather, outside activities and the ocean (vacation!).
I hope that I am not one off the lurkers that you have been concerned about, Night. You know I'm going through some 'stuff' and my head isn't good ATM (LOL crazier than usual). I've been lurking around the lighter side of things and keeping my posts jovial and lighthearted (or trying).

Oh, I'm still here in the bushes keeping an eye on you all (so happy to see new participants AND hearing from Kaelci
).

Love in the air for you, Kaelci, and I can't imagine the frustration of being separated by so many miles and ocean for so long! I wish you both the best and can't wait to share in your joy of what the future can bring you both.

I'm not sure if I've shared this one before but, it makes me think of the 'bush people'...

So, I'm just popping in to say hello and give some ((hugs)) and the cake and the ramblings and the good luck wishes.

I'm so happy for the Shed and all of you in it. You all bring me joy and, even though it may seem as if no one is around or perhaps it may seem as if they've abandoned their friendships...in my case, I have not. I don't want to be a party pooper! I'm only a PM away if any of you need anything or you know the other ways to contact me.

The stories are great and I follow along as much as I am able. The Shed is truly a nice retreat from the rest of the board which can become so overloaded with negativity and sadness.

*sigh*

Morning.

Yup I recognised that from Mo's username straight away.
I think he's "WotNo?" (- as in "WotNo Donuts??") in these parts although I think I've seen "Kilroy was here" versions too?

Am busy at work today.

Will keep checking in when I can.

Good morning, Thelma.

That cake is amazing! I can't imagine having the patience to make it.
I used to have patience, lol. (used to bake a lot too)

I'm in the same place as you...going through real life stuff and coming here for a break.
Also trying to keep things light-hearted and grab any giggles I can get.
I think I need kinship and laughter more than food these days.

Anyways, *squishy hugs* to you,
Louise

Hey Gordi!!

I thought "I" was the poster child for "Wot No Donuts"...?

I remember back writing Shed 1 (I think)...writing "Wot's real?" and at the time I was picturing that Kilroy/Foo picture, lol.
*sips cocoa/coffee*...*grins*...

Timely...Thanks for finding that! WW2 era would be right, my parents were both in their 20's back then.

Are you looking forward to anything in particular this weekend?
We're supposed to get cold and snow again. (after t-shirt weather) Most bizarre winter ever.

Thanks Louise!

I knew you'd get it...

Good news is it's Friday cause if it wasn't, I'm afraid I would've had to quit my job LOL

I may need an extra one or three of these though!

(thinking I may need a dosage increase, they're not really helping anymore
)

The 3" thick porterhouse in my fridge.

For you metric nudnicks that's like 1.5 kilos.

Metric Nudnick was my stage name.

Let me guess...you like your porterhouse rare?

Mine are certainly rare..... very rare... in fact I can't remember the last time I had one.

But, I confess... I am one of those heathens who likes my meat well done!
I KNOW it can be drier BUT I just LOVE the well-cooked, almost charred taste.

There I've said it.
