I have ancestry that goes back to King Charlemagne. Then they went to Canada. I had a Grandmother who only spoke French. Well, very little English.

We are apparently in the grip of Storm Doris here in Scotland.
High winds and wintry showers, LOTS of snow on the way.... oooh, it has just snowing quite heavily just now.

LOL - I ain't goin' nowhere!!!
I'm working on the PC in my conservatory, but I mirrored the windows a while back so when it's sunny or SNOWY the birds, squirrels and wild haggi can't see me in here!
I am currently about 6 feet from a bird feeder which has 4 sparrows and a Great Tit on it with a Robin hopping about below them. Yesterday we had a woodpecker come visit!
It's great, but I keep getting distracted from work!!! ugh!!

No, no.... this was a GREAT Tit!
In fact there were more than one (NOT going THERE!!)

Since then, a couple of Blue Tits, a 2nd Robin (who got roughed up by the resident 1st one!) and a big posse of Rooks that I keep chasing off every time they come down to nick the food! Not to mention what now seems like about a dozen sparrows.

(Resident Robin is currently about 18" from my left foot!! He's either trying to see in or he's spotted his own reflection!!!)
