As magic dust rains from the skies, Sheddites from near and far begin to dance and sing with joy. Their dragon Guardian has returned.

Sorry Hon, couldn't help my self. Self discipline to me is like selective hearing.

I get upset when hubby says "You're so smart"...using words he doesn't know.
For one thing, English is his second language (Azores Portuguese first)...

So you guys are the Canadian equivalent of Lucy and Ricardo? That is so cute. I love the show where she tries to teach him the phonetics of English.

and also, while he was the cool guy running around partying with friends...I was the lonely dork kid at home reading books.

There is nothing wrong with reading all though I am biased. When I was eleven I would dive into Webster's for hours, in seventh grade at our school library I emptied it for books on psychology and philosophy and also at that age I memorized whole chapters from a veterinary study book on the autonomy of the horse. I even held classes for my horse geeky friends.
Thus the apparent danger of literacy.
We are never satisfied. All ways must we reach for the next book. Addicts.
But my English grammar and punctuation sucks, I am much more fluent in Danish.

Oh...is it weird that I like when Shep calls you "Admin"?? (it creates visuals in my head that make me grin, lol)
You too I assumed I was off character.

Loved that show with Lucy and Ricky! LOL

My Hubby is Portuguese too, but he doesn't know a word of Portuguese.

I have always been a bookworm, even In my wild youth. LOL

Wild youth. Jeez, if I could do it over again, I would have been less "wild" stupid and rebellious. That is something I regret. A hard lesson learned.
But the books, the infinity of words I have never tired of. No screen can satisfy my addiction to the pages of a book. The tactile stimulation when it slowly cuddles in your arms as you fall asleep, the scent of paper, the visual joy of a whole book retrieved from the shelf. Old books, where one can grasp the hands that held them many years ago.

It was more like wild and crazy, fun loving, bubbly, silly, full of life and stupid but learning from those experience so I don't regret a lot. I drank, went to clubs and danced the nights away, got to meet rock stars and saw what they were like as just regular people. Had great friends and a lot of fun and laughter, Now my big day out is lunch with a friend and grocery shopping. LOL! Been through some gut wrenching times, deep sorrow and pain, cancer and what-not, but I'm here with all you wonderful people in the shed, alive and happy to be here.

Ah, there is nothing like a real book with paper pages to turn. They are like a precious treasure to be cherished always.

Nice to see you are happily busy Kitty Kat! I should have done laundry earlier and then forgot about it. I should have made my ciggs but I keep getting distracted. It doesn't take much. Ooooh look, something shiny!

I am the kind of person that can't forget about laundry or anything else.

When my home is clean. I am content.

And in real life, I don't have Pixies to help me. (although sometimes I pretend I do. Things just seem to get done faster" Hahahahha.

The secret of magic. We all have it.

I still smoke my cigs. Not so much these days. I used to smoke a pack in two day's (if I was partying, a whole pack.)

Now a days I'm smoking much less. A pack of cigs can last me up to a week or more.

It's such a nasty habit. But I am like alot of others. I am addicted to Nicotine.

They raised the price of cigs last week from $6.79 to $7.09 here.

In the cities they pay $10 plus a pack.

We all need to quit. It has been proven it is a health risk.

And I don't think "vapping is any better.

I am just a stubborn one. I am kinda sad, when I think about it.

I need to just stop. I like myself and I love my family.

Gotta get it together on that. I would like to live for another 30 years.

Getting old sucks!!!!!

Aw Well, I do, do most things right.

I'll figure it out! I just haven't had the time or patience.

I know I should quit. I roll my own ciggs and it hardly costs anything compared to buying them already made.

I have worked in factories all my life, first with fabrics and then filters for vehicles treated with cancer causing materials. I have been in old buildings with asbestos. I know smoking doesn't help, but even if I never smoked a cigarette in my life, I wouldn't be surprised if I got cancer from those things. Anyway, no preaching people. I know I have my faults.

On a more positive note...It's Spring and I'm looking forward to green things sprouting and budding, open windows and all of that good stuff.
