Just watched this. I'm curious, how can people deny Trump obviously lying every time he speaks to the public?

If you're a supporter and know that he lies constantly, why don't you care?

Either way, journalists, if they were objective, should be reporting on what Trump said, not on how it should be interpreted. To call these guys journalists or The Press is to give journalism a bad name.

So because you've been lied to up to this point it's ok if Trump does it?

Remember when calling Obama a liar was racist?

I don't, I do remember the right trying to act like it was being said.

I think i finnaly got it, if the source says bad things about trump its fake, but if the same source the next day praises trump, thats the real news.

Just an update - Shep Smith is not on his show today. Harris Faulkner is hosting. Hmmm.

Provide as many examples as you want, it still does not prove a media narrative. It proves individuals had said some stupid things.

You make no sense. Individuals make up the media and they were all repeating the same talking points for years. You're just admitting that no amount of evidence will change your mind. Big surprise!

You're projecting the words of the few on the entire media in order to create your own narrative.

You keep minimizing it, but it was coming from all corners of the media for many years.

how is it 3 pages in still no one has mentioned the obvious correction to this claim? immediately after the statement trump made about electorate history a reporter pointed out that other presidents had more and trump clarified he meant republican candidates, not democrats. this makes his statement accurate, so all this hyperbole, this media hit piece thats spreading like wildfire is over a misstatement that was corrected in the following breath?

didnt any of you even watch the damn press conference? all of you are sitting here criticizing the man for not fact checking yet none of you even bothered to fact check the statement itself, outrageous hypocrisy...

Let me back up and say that I believe I approached this issue the wrong way and that you are correct. The media does create narratives, just not the way you expect.

For example, we know that Right Wing think tanks like the Heritage Foundation spend a lot of money framing issues and stories in a way that not only favor the Right, but may also be profitable for them, and they pay big-named Right Wing talking heads, like Hannity, Levin and Limbaugh, to disseminate those messages to their viewers/listeners.

That's been proven and been openly admitted.

Problem is, I've yet to find a comparable effort on the Left. I have not yet found a Left Wing think tank that pays people on MSNBC or talk radio to disseminate their narratives.

It's not accurate. GHW Bush had 426. Trump had only 304.

He probably took today off in support of the various anti-Trump protests going on across the nation.

If so, I hope he gets fired. Even if that's not the reason he took off today, I hope he gets fired. He has become unwatchable, imo.
