I posted a paper from 2016 which discussed and dismissed the black mats as misidentified and natural process
and you are trying to counter it by going back in time 4 years and posting the original paper which the one I posted is a rebuttal to

just posting to say... I wish I had a greater understanding of this subject, but I know just enough to know I do not know squat.

Still enjoyed reading the thread, nice change of pace and gives me some food for thought.
