My whole life I've been deathly afraid of Tsunamis. Kind of weird for a kid growing up in Kentucky.

Stupid people in large groups.

Really bringing the A Game today.

I used to disarm IEDs.

I don't worry about much.

That leaf spider in China!!

And spikey things, like the hangers in a grocery store with nothing on them, that no matter how unlikely it would happed, might poke my eye out! That is my unnatural fear since being a kid... so you know it is going to happen, right?!

Seriously, I do not go down an aisle with no merch on the hangers!!

Now look what you've done Shrek, look at my eye twitching! And my eye never used to have a twitch in it!!

Not afraid of much in Australia but this little critter has the wood on me .

Thats right boys and girls its a blue ringed octopus .Painless bite and in about 20 mins you lose the ability to breath or move . If you get someone/something to breath for you you should be OK in a couple of days . Had one come over the side of the boat one day in a crab net and it moved like the baby alien . Very hard to stab and flick overboard .

Are there any creatures, besides some of the "men", that aren't a threat to human life in your country?

I once joked with an Aussie that it would be easier there to publish a manual of aniimals that couldn't kill you over there.

I have a real fear of heights. I can mostly overcome it, but where it really overwhelms me is when I have to see someone I care about near a high place like on a ledge or ladder.

Fear of being burned alive. There is something about watching a fire and imagining the excrutiating pain of it feeding itself on me that is horrifying. And no, I never watch those horrible videos of people/animals being burned alive.

Letting my kids down terrifies the hell out of me.

Also, heights and spiders.

I have a severe fear of heights which has only gotten worse over the years. 3 steps up a ladder and I panic...
That being said I have managed to slightly overcome my fears of driving over bridges and deep water.
I also have a fear of snakes due to a childhood incident.
Mostly...I'm afraid to admit I'm afraid of ET's...and not the Reese's pieces eating kind.

I'm terrified of being seen naked in a Biblical sense: having people [that I love] see my sinfulness and turn away from me; I'm afraid God won't love me.

Small, enclosed spaces with low ceilings...have to be able to stand fully upright with enough clearance overhead that I could stand on tip toe without bumping my head -

- along those lines, I can't sleep in a bunk bed unless there's enough head 'clearance' to sit fully upright.

Very full elevators, especially if going more than 10 floors up..

Bridges over large bodies of water...especially if the bridge is close to the water.

I didnt know being scared of bridges was a thing . Seems it is quite common, who would have thunk it .

People telling me I need to do something no healthy
person ever had to do even ONE generation ago-- in
order to stay alive.
It tells me we're losing the fight somehow. Either that or
somebody we mistakenly think are heroes are winning.

That and it took me two watches of the last episode of
"The Young Pope" to explain to me Jude (Lenny) died.
Guess I missed that the first time--- The End hmmm.
PS and maybe scarier, how much of that HBO series was true.
This is not spam, and I think Diane Keaton is still a fox.

Take heart, under. If the New Madrid ever gets hooked up
with a good resonance to HAARP, Bowling Green could
still be beachfront any time.. and I'll probably wash up.

Fear of heights seems to be quite common. Fear of length and/or width is much rarer.
