The solitary Fairy Cat, believing with all his heart, he was now a full grown Tom...
looked down from the mountain to where his wailing mother weeped in winters darkness,
the waning moon guiding her tears down the blossoming river.
With hints of spring, she begged to the Seelie Court,
"Bring me my dear Wee Wild son back, if only in my dreams."
"his journey lies elsewhere..." Is all they could answer..."and he is still in your heart... forever."
The warmth of the sunlight and her dear memories of The Solitary Fairy Cat,
a small gift, yet the most cherishable of all...
More so than a mountain of gold
as the peaking through of spring,
breaks through the most terrible of cold.
