For your celestial consideration

The Antichrist and Satan redeemed in the end ?
after the lake....

what Love is that ?
beyond hate..

who prays for Satan ?

if your child was a Mad killer Prince
would you not still Love him ?
he is still your child

How many Christians would pray for their Souls ?

Can you truly Love your enemies ?
beyond all hate

Hate the sin not the sinner ?

1 John 4:7-8 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.
Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.

at the moment of Death will you Hate ?
or would you just Smile and laugh big ?
don't fight those streaming tears...

knowing that all are Loved
no matter how terrible they have become

How deep is your Love ?

I think people don't know what love is. I don't not discipline my children because I love them.

I discipline them BECAUSE I love them.

This is an amazing post, and a great reminder of Christ's radical teaching of love!

Your question about how we will face our moment of death is beautiful and resonates deeply with me.

And also your reminder of our own tremendous power.

Thank you dearly.

This gives me plenty to contemplate.

Also, to answer your question to us.. I do believe that redemption awaits us all. I have to wonder if those who ultimately reject love will still receive but, in my humble opinion (which matters naught), yes they shall.

By 'discipline', I assume that you mean 'beat'? Physically abuse? Dehumanize? Express your frustrations?
Or did you have some other definition of 'disciplining' your children, or are just blasphemously blaming your violence and lack of Love on God/Love!?

True, unconditional Love is ALWAYS Known by It's unconditional Virtues; Compassion, Empathy, Sympathy, Gratitude, Humility, Charity (charity is never taking more than your share of anything, ever!), Honesty, Happiness, Faith...
ALWAYS!

I cannot see that if you have ever experienced such Love, you can find something in there that inspires you to beat your children!

So true, only unconditional Love/Enlightenment so completely transcends all (conditioned duality) 'life' and 'death', all 'space' and 'time'...!

I don't think you can love that which cuts any cord to the source of love...which is The gift of Jesus Christ from the heavenly Father, IMHO.
a name, Satan, given to the opposite of the name we use for love...which IMO, is God, the Creator, provider of hope for goodness and the one i refer to as the the father of Christ and his followers...plus those that will let any of Christs light through the cracks.
You can't love if you choose a dark void of negative energy over the comfort provided in the Holy Spirit...
But i am not sure about Satan being an individual entity...more like a force used by Darth Vader.
i believe one can put light where there is darkness and warmth where there is cold...or cool the heated tempers and guard our eyes from UV light damage.

LOL one, I don't beat my children. I also NEVER discipline them out of anger. When I discipline them I do so out of love for them to ensure that they learn what is necessary to be safe and to be productive members of society. Coddling or befriending your children is not out of love, it is out of laziness and lack of discipline yourself.

It is too true the old adage, this is going to hurt me more than it will hurt you. You do it because it is what is necessary under the circumstances, not out of anger or frustration.

Violently striking is violently striking, no matter how you need to justify it.

Now, you've just lost all credibility.
I have raised too many children, and known too many parents, and have studied humanity for way too long to accept your 'overstated' assertion as true.
Had you said 'rarely', I might have been willing to accept, but the screaming 'NEVER', is a 'tell', like a twitching eye is to a card player...

Another point, we have been beating and torturing our criminals and children for about 130,000 years to teach them to be better humans and to live in harmony and peace.
Here we are, 130,000 years later, still doing the same insane behavior hoping for different results.
The very definition of insanity!

If such violent insane methods worked, the Earth, by now, would be a Paradise for ALL!
It is obviously dramatically worse!

Who did Jesus beat/hit out of 'love'?

Not hoping for different results. Hoping for the same results. No, what you are calling for is to change behavior that has been proven to work for thousands of years.

LOL It works and teaches children to behave.

Beating children can be damaging, teaching them with physical discipline is necessary in some cases. The key is knowing how much and in which situations to apply it.

No, what hasn't worked are time outs and other non physical bull#. Just look at the millenials and you'll see the point.

Jaden

p.s. No I have NEVER spanked my children in anger. I have had to spank my children on their butts less than a handful of times in their 4 and 11 years. I've NEVER beaten my children...I've never caused any physical harm or left any marks on them. I've done what was necessary in certain situations to ensure I had their attention and to ensure that they understood that that behavior was completely unacceptable or dangerous to them.

So, you've never seen 'A Clockwork Orange'?
Physical 'conditioning' can teach children, in the short term, not to pee on the carpet.
But that is only the very short term.
If punishment really worked to better our behavior and thoughts and..., the Earth would have been in a perpetual state of peace for millennia!
Punishment is torture because we have NO CHOICES!
We vainly imagine that we do have 'free-will/choices', and so treat others as a result of that insanity, torturously!
Even our own children suffer from our vanity and ignorance.
All the time, being as Loving as we possibly can be!

Alrighty, I'll start "physically disciplining" (makes 'beating' sound almost acceptable!) YOU when you do not behave as I think that you should, and you feel free to let me know whether or not the 'case' is applicable, or when it's enough!
Okay? *__-
But please note, we do not give children the same respect that I am offering you!

LOL, you DO realize that a clockwork orange is a MOVIE and a book, not a clinical instructional right?

Children are CHILDREN. They are not developed emotionally or physically, it is up to us to raise and instruct them. They do not deserve the same respect that a grown fully formed adult does and no one deserves respect that hasn't been earned.

Respect is not an entitlement, it is something that is earned.

We are responsible for ensuring that we teach and instruct and discipline our children so that they become contributing members of society.

Ignoring the effectiveness of physical discipline and its' necessity in certain circumstances is tantamount to saying "oh, I don't care if they're little #s, I'll let them grow up to be big #s too".

I have yet to meet a single person that avoids physical discipline that isn't simply lazy, inept, or wants to make sure their children LIKE them.

It's not our job as parents to ensure our children like us or don't get mad at us. It is our job to raise our children to become good adults. That sometimes requires physical discipline, period. This feel good friendship parenting is what has led to a generation of #-tards that respect nothing and no one.
