Of course they weren't questioned, the right hates government except for when they're using it to enrich the private sector.

Was someone tapping the Russian ambassador? Was this FBI, NSA or CIA?
Yes. No. Yes. Yes. Questions answered. If nothing else, Flynn was an idiot. He knows the US taps diplomats' phones.

To those that think it was okay:
As has been pointed out, Flynn was a private citizen at the time.
So therefore, a court had to approve the tapping and recording.
Which court? Which agent applied for the permit? How did they get Flynn's number? Was someone tapping the Russian ambassador? Was this FBI, NSA or CIA?
Lots of unanswered questions.
p.s. I agree Flynn should have resigned if he lost the VP's confidence.
So they were classified messages. And someone leaked them to a newspaper. That is a felony, and not protected by whistleblower laws. Unless the Obama Admin head of NSA or FBI can point to the leak, they should go to jail.
Rebuttal?

They were not "classified messages." They were potentially illegal and unconstitutional communications between a future member of the Security Council and the ambassador of a hostile foreign power. The text of the recorded conversations have not been leaked; they remain classified. The President could declassify them to prove his adviser's innocence. That hasn't happened. Do the math.
