Editors at the New York Times have reprimanded a reporter for referring to first lady Melania Trump as a “hooker” at an event Sunday night, calling the remarks “completely inappropriate.”

Politico

So now you have this reporter saying that he thought he was having a personal conversation as his reason for justifying calling Melania Trump a hooker.

If you are making accusations about someone that are not true it is clearly defamation and slander! She should sue the hell out of him.

The left wing media sure seems to have a credibility problem.

Do you think they will ever figure out that they are shooting themselves in the foot?

Are you talking to yourself?

Anyway, what this guy said is out-of-line.

Wait, isn't that the excuse people used to justify Trump's comments on the bus with Bush?

Can any one prove that it's not true that Melania was once a high end escort, and that she didn't hooker her way to the fabulous girl on girl soft porn shoots she did?

Nice try!

There is a huge difference between saying what you would like to do to someone as opposed to saying something about someone that is not remotely true.

I don't need to prove that she wasn't a hooker you need to prove that she was!

Innocent until proven guilty.

They are shooting us in the foot, and they know it. The media, apologizing?

Saving face...

We all know melania related 'publicity' will be out sooner or later. Its a matter of who has their hands on the 'proof'. If it exists, someone is sitting on it, waiting...

God I hope not.

If they ever figure out what they're doing right, we are really in big trouble.

If you read the article you will see that the guy outed himself.

Neither Ratajkowski nor the Times identified Bernstein as the reporter in question, but on Tuesday, Bernstein apologized on Twitter for making the comment.

One was at a professional event giving a speech and the other was on a bus with another man. It's not the same kind of ballsy move you know they were both seeking to be the popular kid with a throat tattoo but one did it mano a mano not thinking he would have to justify himself, and the other did it mano at a crowdo not thinking he would have to justify himself.

He can say whatever he wants in a private conversation. If he gets overheard saying something not true he can be held liable.

Ohhh ... the twist at the end of the stab.

The NYT keeps ever dropping. I bet the Enquirer has better circulation before the year's out.

Retired General FLYNN thought he was having a Private conversation with the Russian Ambassador. Seems that nothing is "private" any more. Even our exact physical location is logged somewhere, with each ATS post we make.

Like women will allow you to walk up to them and grab their bits and pieces?

That is untrue of most women, unless they are...well, you finish that sentence.

I don't care. His comments were still out-of-line.

A snowflake would try just that.

Even if she did I don't think there is a law that would allow it to go through. People can say horrible things about others and it is completely legal the Trump has proven that.
