Yanukovych was never impeached. That required 338 votes in the Rada. There were only 328 votes.

Russia was going to lose its warm water port, it made its calculated risk.
Russia had a claim as did Ukraine. We can argue the strength of the claim but its pointless.

That whole thing before Yanukovych left office was really weird.

One guy has came out said he was sniping at police officers feet to scare them. I just can't see a government in this day thinking using snipers on protesters would be a good idea. great idea for a false flag. but maybe old soviet bloc countries believe differently.

Russia has plenty of warm water ports in Krasnodar Krai. That was not the reason.

What's impressive is Putin took back Crimea without a shot fired.

The overwhelming Russian majority in Crimea were glad to back.

Unlike how the Clinton administration backed the kosovar muslims with known extremists cells there and took Kosovo away from Serbia in 99'

Serbians started getting murdered and their centuries old churches vandalized and destroyed during the rapid influx of Muslims there from the 50s under Tito. Trying to broaden Yugoslavia hoping to have Albania come and join. Also other anti Serb Yugoslav members had Serbian authority brought down in kosovo to almost zero influence for political agenda. And to balance out Muslim community there too.

Ok fine until it was either Muslim or nothing. And centuries old Serbian Orthodox monasteries started coming down. And Milosevic started sending forces in to protect its people. War atrocities started happening from both sides. And Muslim refugees started to leave.

Period point blank, It's a known fact there's islamic muslim extremist cells in Kosovo and Bosnia before 9/11 and now.

Trump and Putin said the Clinton administration bombed the wrong people. Putin taking back Crimea and protecting it's people is a given.

War is hell. But Crimea being "annexed" went a lot better than others and for better reasons.

He fled the country. Even Russia acknowledges that he abandoned his post. They also acknowledge the legitimacy of Poroshenko.

Why is it that all of your options involve bloodshed and war?

They don't. Avoidance of that is more the point, from this vantage point.

Just my opinion....

We watched it....live, some of us...and snipers were taking out people on both sides. Same snipers....same bullet forensics. We also have Victoria Newland discussing who to put in, after the coup, on recording. Her quietly famous quote being, "# the Eu!"

Soros spent about 5 billion building the foment...which he freely admitted. What part of this isn't obvious? Of course Russia has been involved. It's on their damn border! If Russia or China were spending megabucks in Canada or Mexico, would we be unconcerned? Of course not.

I personally think Putin has been playing a very tight, but also constrained game. Both he and President the Donald, want to play nice, and squeeze the banksters out. Just my opinion, of course.

I've brought this up a number of times and have never received a response. If the protests were caused by the US why were they pro-EU when Nuland said, "F*** the EU?" One would think that by saying "F*** the EU," Nuland was siding with Russia and Yanukovych.

Furthermore, if the removal of Yanukovych was facilitated by the US why did the candidate the US backed not end up winning the presidency?

Maybe this will help.

You know I like that answer, He should not as it would be seen as a climb down and weakness on the part of the west but he should also do Nothing to try to force Russia's hand on that matter as in fact we should not be interfering, God man have you seen all the Fascists in the Ukraine whom think the sun shone out of Hitler's arse in spite of the fact he was going to kill or enslave them after he had finished with the Russian's.
