While I have really enjoyed the Liberal meltdown, it's kinda getting sad and pathetic.

I honestly don't know what they expect to happen with it all, I mean do they not SEE how Trump and everyone who is NOT a Liberal doesn't care what they think?

Their bubble was exposed, and instead of an awakening, they have fully retreated into it. They're now entrenched in it.

Good, because that's what lost them the election, and that's what will continue to do the same. They don't even realize what they are doing to their side.

They think they're galvanizing themselves, and yet what they are truly doing is alienating the rest of the country.

I reckon I identify as a "liberal", but I think the reaction is ridiculous as well.

I have a hard time understanding what the uproar is about, and I have a hard time understanding how anybody believes that he has any intentions of doing good for the country.

We've had several terrible presidents over the years. My only concern is foreign relations. Nearly the entire world hates him. But what can we do about it? Nothing. I'll just sit back and watch the show.

It used to be a default setting of posters to think that politics and the media was all a big show - not so much these days. I've seen little or no mention of how this supposedly somewhat maverick president, would possibly fit into a bigger picture of mass-manipulation. It was a similar to the UK's EU referendum, these two huge political issues have been mostly spoken about in very conventional - and dare I say it - MSM terms.

I believe Globalism is one of the many things they have been driving us to.

Now I understand that the theme of this thread was Leave Donald Alone....but can you see why...just maybe...why we are a little concerned and have cause to look into conspiracy behind all of this, more, and the possibility that Russia may have had something to do with the election of a man who claimed that Hillary had fraudulent election measures?

Those are pretty fair points where this cycle is concerned. Official news reports and statements certainp do lead me to believe that we have been restratified in the manner you suggested. To me, it seems current crop pf people screaming "Nazi' and "Russian" are contrasted by the last 8 years of people screaming "Communist" and "Socialist" at Obama and Dems. Accuse your accuser of the accusation. The right wing is adept at employing his tactic where racism is concerned, and the left is in overdrive with it. They are both taking pages from alinsky and the soviets whether they realize it or not. It's truly a bizzare sight for us right leaning independents.

To me it seems like elements within the deep State and for and address areas house averted both the left and right wing of our government and have pulled them further over what is essentially an organic and natural divide that occurs every cycle. But that is just a bunch of assumption and speculation on my part. I can't honestly claim the know the truth and I know better than to trust Breitbart OR CNN...and it seems like a lot of people are angry that some of us are skeptical of a rulling powers claims. Still, people seem to be getting less stratified in some areas. I am meeting a lot more younger kids who have surprisingly right wing views mixed with surprisingly left wing social liberal attitudes. I don't think we are as bad off as it seems. But that is the optimist in me speaking... reality maybe far more Mundane or far more terrifying. And good god if there isnt some nasty crap coming from both ends of the turd sandwich.

First ParasovO, I am not a disbeliever, rather I am a frustrated enthusiast tired of waiting for mass contact.

You say that they knew our potential and the consequences when they guided our inception as a species way back when.

You say that they have been interfering (I would not say interfering so much as manipulating as interfering would suggest that they were foreign to our being whereas if they put us together in the first place they would not be foreign to us.)

The two main points I might consider about your reply are:
One. Humans are an experiment being run by beings of other origin (and quite possibly nature) for some purpose to suit some agenda other than just the welfare of our species. You suggest that the experiment might be morphing in a manner that is not in accordance with that original agenda.

You say they are acting stupidly to stop our progress even though they need that progress for their own survival. From this I gather that they are not as smart as they think they are.

Two. You say "Soon they will ALL be confronted and changed against their will". By who? Here, the only thing I can imagine is that even greater powers will show up and intervene by changing them or as you state later, removing them from our equation entirely.

So what I am putting together from your points are, we humans are created by aliens for an unstated purpose to serve the needs for continued alien survival yet the very progress that is necessary in the human experiment is a threat to them even though they knew the risks in the first place. They sound desperate to have undertaken such a volatile experiment. And finally, some greater alien power will step in and either set them straight or just get them out of the way entirely.

As I understood your first points, it all sounds like a localized experiment, something happening centered on the development of a human species and how that experiment is off course but can be rectified by smarter aliens stepping in to make corrections. But that last sentence, when you say that 'All of Entirety' will spiral down forever with out completion, that suggests that this human, earth, alien experiment is not just localized but rather is of the utmost and totally cosmic proportions.

So Para, if I am close to understanding your position, please let's continue if you want to expand on all of that. I'm listening.

This topic has been discussed at length recently to the point I'm tempted to make a "Stop ranting about posts that are ranting about posts related to politics" thread.

Short Story:
The world, along with this nation, are facing multiple imminent threats that all lead to a very dystopian future.
Every bit of it is tied to politics and religion, which is also politics.
The current state of the U.S. government dictates which way the cradle will fall.
There has never been a more crucial time to discuss politics.

Granted, many of the posts fail to hit the nail, instead reducing the banter to the same 'ol bipartisan subjects which could not be more outdated or irrelevant, but at least it's being discussed.

Frankly, I'd much rather see this site riddled with these posts rather than a year ago, when ATS was rapidly becoming an extension of Facebook with it's barrage of kitten/recipe/clickbait crapola I was seeing everywhere. So very happy we've gotten away from that for the most part.

I made this thread the other day. . . Not Trump related. . . Oddly enough, there were a few members who tried to turn it into a political agenda. Thankfully the mods mopped it up quickly.

1 - Trump Tweets, like, all the time. Sort of seeks our attention and we give it because his tiny clown hands are fun to talk about.

2 - Aliens haven't been making appearances like they used to. Because they are watching the news about Trump.
