Language of Lies

Never do I listen to the catch phrases,
That are meant to keep you locked in cages.
A trap used to capture your subliminal mind,
Barring you from thoughts of the original kind.

They are falsehoods, lies that rot your brain,
Those words that are repeated again and again.
Meant to keep your head occupied,
With divisive thoughts, about "the other side."

Words that you would've never chosen,
To describe people you've always known and,
Now you use them so faithfully,
To treat your friends and family hatefully.

Is this you or part of the programming?
Are you logical, smart, or a sheepling?
Do you allow someone else, to give you your thoughts,
Allow them to control you, like mechanical bots?

Or are you capable of seeing, through the language of lies,
Strong enough to break free, from those subliminal ties,
To see through the words that others abuse,
And keep yourself from being, unwillingly used?

Strong emotion. Sounds like a fight against he mainstream o manipulation of our minds, thoughts. Well done-I felt it.
