Is anyone watching Walking Dead?

The Hill Top, The Kingdom and Alexandria are all about to come together.

Anyone?

ETA: No spoilers please.

I love you. This show makes me so nervous in a good way.

I know right? My heart rate goes up.

Every time they leave Judith behind, all alone in Alexandria, it stresses me out! And now that looney Father Gabriel is up to something and he's always orbiting Judith. I can't take it.

Argh... Yes, when it's released on Netflix, Spoiley McSpoilsterton.

Yes! Team family I believe is teaming up with multiple communities!

This 2nd half of season 7 seems to be "March to War" from the comics. Leading me to believe season 8 will be "All Out War" and very possibly the greatest season yet.

Going to be a wild ride

I have no idea wtf that was at the end. A horde of emo ninjas?

Are fans falling off? In the first half of the season some were complaining the show had become too predictable and redundant. And of course...the whole Glenn/Abraham thing, which traumatized me as well.

I LOVE this show, although I couldn't watch the season opener. Chickened out, I admit. Also watch Talking Dead.
It's like therapy after a particularly rough episode.

So, why is Rick smiling?????

That was Ricks new army to take on the Saviors.

I think Gabriel stashed the stuff because he knows Alexandria is going to get over run by the Saviors.

I kind of liked last season, but I can see how some people lost interest; they've probably only watched the TV show so all the new characters from the comic confused them. I thought it did a good job showing the bigger world outside of Rick Grimes.

Oh, and I loved the season opener!!! A good brain splattering, melon caving, clubbing murder is cleansing for the soul. Two even is double the pleasure and double the fun!

Glenn's character was stale by then and Abraham was already dead in the comic. Plus, Negan rocks! He's a crazy psychopath, but the more I see him the more awesome he gets! I just can't wait for that Simon dude to get bludgeoned/stabbed/run through a wood chipper or something! Can't stand that dude!!

ETA...Oh, and y'all ain't seen nothin' yet!!! (wink) (just in general). But there is one show coming up I'm definitely NOT looking forward to...at all!!! Not gonna' say what it is though...but I might even have to turn off the TV for that one!

It's all very LOTR-ish, they are gathering the Host of the West, we have dwarves fighting with Elves, Men, the Great Eagles of the Misty Mountains and so on.

Gather your Alexandrians, Kingdoms, Hilltop Hoods, Ninja Emos and Gaggle of Dykes ...Together we shall push through the Black Gates and crush the power of Sauron, errr I mean Lucille.

Yes, you have those three groups, and then the group at the end, plus the ladies of the lakeside group. The odds seem to be starting to even out possibly.

It may just be me but I'm growing quite tired of the colony vs colony storylines. I realize other humans may be more of a problem than the walkers during a zombie apocalypse, but come on, lets get back to just trying to survive the zombie attacks, and finding a cure or something.

I've not read much of the comics, so I'm not sure where they are headed next.

I dunno!? Maybe Gabriel? Or some other familiar person, a blast from the past? Whose boots were in in the scene at the lake?

That really didn't make sense did it ?

The preacher takes off after stealing some food and goes to that boat.

And finds not the preacher, but 'emo ninjas' .

LOL.

They went there to find the preacher so the boot prints were supposedly his.

I still wonder why the Garbage Pail Kids would even bother helping Rick once they get all the guns. I mean, no real reason to.
But, Rick's an idiot, and the writers keep treating us like we are too.

I'm curious how well these different groups could effectively fight together. Most of the Kingdom has never really had to battle. Hilltop presumably lost any decent ones already. The garbage bunch is unproven as well. Negan's group is fortified, and hardened. (and seemingly has at least equal numbers). Once attacked, it's assumed Negal will call on the various outposts (which would then outflank our "heroes"). Oh well, I'm sure it will be all Hollywood hokey..... After all, the kid is already Hollywood aging...she can like walk and talk now.
