I'm not saying it didn't happen. Heck even it might have happened this very year. But as i said in the OP they are limited incidents and are frowned upon by Iranian people in social media.
I live in a western city in Iran (kermanshah) and i can assure you no such thing happened this year. At least in my city with a 2 million population

Why do we need a constant naval presence in international waters off Iran? Especially after the downing of the Iranian jumbo jet years ago. There is no need to antagonize Iran with a constant naval presence. They don't send their ships off the US coast. If anyone feels threatened I would imagine given our technology it is THEY who feel threatened.

That's my take as well. We'll see if Trump brings about any REAL change in a positive direction or not, but I certainly hope someone does soon. If not, we're not only going to have trouble globally but domestically as well. A large percentage of the population is sick of same ol', same ol'.
