Trump may push for experimental drugs for the terminally ill. Those are the key words: terminally ill. It wouldn't include you, OP, as Diabetes does not make you terminally ill.

I agree with allowing treatments for people on end of life, with their consent obviously, but I think we should continue to be cautious experimenting with people who are not dying, even if they want to be part of the trials. Because experimental drugs can cause lots of damage: Remember the healthy young man who was left brain dead in France by an experimental drug?

Also, the FDA already has a process called Compassionate Use which already allows what Trump wants to do.
