So Trump doesn't want to change libel laws so that he can't be criticized in the media anymore?

Nazi's have the same God given right to free speech as you or I, and no one let's someone have this freedom it is God given.
Give people more credit, there are fringe groups on all corners of our lives. Are you not surprised that they are not a bigger and scarier influence?

My concern is that you let Nazis have freedom of speech when it is nohing more than a platform to brainwash people

Just because nowadays it's covert instead of overt does not make it any less of a threat.
If anything, it's as equally dangerous as when it was displayed full frontally like the KKK.

Are atheists rights God given as well?

Spare me the religious mumbo jumbo.

Dragged is a funny term when you centered a post around it.

You seem to be Nazi-phobic.

Why should Neo-Nazi's deserve being punched, but not BLM / SJW's (etc oppressive authoritarian hyper-tribalists)?

I don't know.

Who said that should be the case?

I certainly didn't.

You refuse to acknowledge bathroom laws? That's a little strong there don't you think? So you're okay with some 40 year old guy who may or may not be pretending to be a trans, share a bathroom with a young underage girl? Or reverse the scenario, older woman, and young boy..... I was on board with you until you mentioned this. Sorry, you must use the bathroom you have the equipment for, if you don't like it, then get your equipment changed. This borders chaos here, and I don't think this is what we should be telling everyone is alright......

Truth divides. Its the nature of truth to cause division. The divisions we have in this country nowdays run along the lines of truth and bbbuuulllllssslllaaaaccckk.

And no......I have been around and Yes......the left wingers in this country have always acted out domestically. They even have phrases and words for it. "Direct action" being the classic old 60 and onward phrase for rioting ect. Ect, ect, ect.

And no I will leave the nightly new as political nourishment to yous guys! Thats what its there for.

Yep. And some seem to have a problem with that.

You tell me what's worse.

www.politico.com...

Trump stated that he wants to make it easier to sue people who lie or libel against him.

It's not like he targeted the IRS against people to silence them, or enact "free speech" zones.

this whole thing with the transgenders and bathrooms is all about an effort to upset, deride, fly in the face of ANY sort of reasonable understanding of plumbing.

Hahahaha.

I find each to be from the same emotional reaction. I do my best to be logical, and to find this much fault with the Nazi groups but not see it in all the other fringe groups (unless you do) is somewhat simplistic.

Danger is part and parcel to freedom. Imagine all the bat sh-- crazy people in the US and they are free. But somehow it works. Do people get killed, raped, tortured, and "brain washed", yep. But the good far, far out weigh the crazy piss heads.

Just a quick question...
Do people in the US think that their constitution will stay unchanged forever? For 100yrs more, 500yrs more.... 1000yrs?
Wouldn't the logical thing be to evolve?

"We're going to open up libel laws and we're going to have people sue you like you've never got sued before," he said at a rally in February.

The Constitution/Bill of Rights has already been changed several times.

They're called Amendments.

Also - inalienable rights are inalienable. They don't change. Period.

There is a process for changing aspects of the Constitution.

It's been done quite a lot over the centuries.

But changing it through violence, coercion, by a coup d'état is something far different.
