Someone pointed out the other day that we let ourselves be sexually assaulted to hop on a plane, but any tom, dick or harry who feels like it can just waltz right over the border in a lot of places.

So you have no problem with these shocking and staggering statistics?

Of course not. Take your time and study the human evolutions and development since the Adam and Eve.
I am not argue with you on who are right or wrong, but asking you to think of what is right or wrong, simple as that.

But since the beginning of recorded history humans have erected borders. Houses, towns, regions, countries, all borders.

We even see borders in all of nature. Birds make nests to keep predators out, and etc,

Borders are not a matter of morality, they are a matter of practicality. A human is not evil because he made a house.

You said Trump is wrong for the border, and the same time said nothing wrong with illegal immigrants commiting crimes.

What you are talking about has political seasoning and reasoning and its unnatural (to me at least). One should drop the ego and face the truth.

Hiding behind political “reasoning” is just extending the misery and it is futile (in long run) indeed.

Another case solved by captain obvious!

That article only talks about Texas. I think you're missing the point. Nobody claimed borders are most dangerous but it's showing majority of crimes are committed by aliens. That's not a problem to you? So because Detroit has a higher murder rate, all is fine and dandy down south?

It's not that there are those that want a country with no borders, thy just want The US of A gone and replaced with something else.

It is not the US of A people want gone, it is the idiots who claim to represent the constitution and thinks it only applies to certain groups of Americans that they want gone.

Illegal immigration is against the law but I am willing to give some people a chance if they are only here to work their butts off. If you have an issue with illegal immigrants, ask the orange cheeto to go after his fellow business men and tell them to stop hiring illegals.

Well that post is strangely in conflict with this excerpt you posted in the OP where you were SPECIFICALLY calling out the border towns.

Of the 61,529 criminal cases initiated by federal prosecutors last fiscal year, more than 40%—or 24,746—were filed in court districts neighboring the Mexican border.

It's almost like you are walking the goal posts back on me.

I guess the hypothetical question slipped by you. I was clearly going by the logic in your post.

I didn't write the article by the way.

So what are you trying to say? One of these articles are lying?

You're not the fear monger-er but by your own admission you are a victim of it. How ridiculous is it that you live in a secure high rise and not only lock your front door but your bedroom door? That's not something to be proud or glib about. Something has to be seriously wrong for you to feel like that every single day.

If I felt and lived like that I'd be furious.

ETA: Has anything ever happened personally to you to make you feel this way?

Clearly somebody didn't get the joke.

I don't lock my room door.

It's possible that a side or both is manipulating statistics to suit their narrative. Yes.

Also I purposely ignored your hypothetical because it was a deflection that doesn't need to be answered while I dispel the myth that illegals are mostly criminals.

It's become extremely difficult to tell a fact from a joke here lately.

However, even if you did mean it as one... there are probably people out there who feel like that unfortunately.

I was making a mockery of fear mongering by being absurd. Even the poster after me got it and played along.

To be honest, fear mongering does happen, and it's not who you think it is. Here's a hint, it's not those that want a wall..

Think about it

Regardless, it was worth a thread IMO. Wether my article or yours was exaggerated, the numbers are still quite eye opening and needs to be seen.

OH OH OH OH! I got some statistics too.
Statistics show cities along border have lower crime rate than national average

The correlation they are trying to make here is so asinine it would be laughable if this all weren't so sad.
Like somehow bordering Mexico is the cause for the low crime?

My theory is the increased policing required on the border results in lower crime in the general area. Juarez Mexico has seen more than 100 thousand dead and almost 30 thousand go missing in the last 10 years.

Yet I'm supposed to believe places like Juarez Mexico are somehow reducing the crime just a few miles away in somewhere like El Paso Texas because of a positive influence?
Hahahaha!!!
Sorry but crime and violence doesn't create peace. I know the left thinks violence is the answer right now with the recent Trump supporter beat downs. But It only breeds more violence.

Not really. The national murder rate is at a 33 year low. That's a pretty eye opening stat that you didn't feel like needed to be seen.
