Among members whose systems may have been compromised is Florida Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, who was also the target of an email hack while she served as chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) during the 2016 campaign. South Carolina Republican Rep. Jeff Duncan said Congress particularly needs to investigate what information was compromised after last year’s DCCC hack.
Pennsylvania Republican Rep. Scott Perry, who sits on the House Committee on Homeland Security and the House Foreign Affairs Committee, said the ongoing Capitol Police investigation precludes a public hearing now, but he wants to do everything he can to protect national security information. “I want to make sure that from my standpoint — since I’m not really hearing anything in the press — I want to make sure I’m doing all I can to secure the nation,” Perry said. “And if these folks are trading in secrets based on the committees that they’re dealing with, we need to know that. I don’t want this to be swept under the rug.”
Perry, who first heard the story on WMAL radio Monday morning, more than a week after TheDCNF first reported the story, expressed frustration that the media isn’t giving the story more attention and that, in the initial reports he heard, “not one name was mentioned.” “I asked my staff members if they saw the names because I was curious to get that, and they said yes, but we can’t pronounce any of them,” Perry said. “And I said, is there a pattern? And they said, well, we see a pattern. I think that is a big part of the story.” Read more: dailycaller.com...

Maybe this next wikileak dump might be the missing link to all this stuff;
we already know the DNC was hacked, we know that these DNC IT employees have been under investigation for at least a year and are under investigation, there has been circumstantial evidence to link Democratic official's to child pornography (Anthony weiner's photos found in his laptop under the file "insurance"), and this weird death twitch going on in the media after the surprising Clinton loss... not to mention the Clinton foundation's sudden shrink or the fact that whenever they leave an area the media will cover a child sex trafficking ring uncovered (good job pat yourselves on the back)...
Cmon wikileaks don't let me down!
Congressional aides suspected of criminally misusing their access to House computer systems owed $100,000 to an Iraqi politician who is wanted by U.S. authorities and has been linked to Hezbollah, the Iranian-backed Middle East Terrorist .....
Imran Awan and four of his relatives were employed as information technology (IT) aides by dozens of House Democrats, including members of the intelligence, foreign affairs and homeland security committees. The aides’ administrator-level IT access was terminated earlier this month amid a criminal probe by U.S. Capitol Police of a suspected security breach, including an off-site server
Eastern terrorist outfit.
Two House Democrats this week fired technology staffers linked to an ongoing criminal investigation, more than a month after the couple in question was barred from House computer networks.
Rep. Gregory Meeks (D-N.Y.) confirmed to Politico that Hina Alvi’s last day as an IT support staffer in his office was Tuesday. Her husband, Imran Awan, was working for Rep. Marcia Fudge (D-Ohio) as of Tuesday evening, but a spokeswoman for Fudge said midday Wednesday that Awan was no longer an employee.
As of Wednesday, Awan was still working as a technology adviser for Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.), although he’s been blocked from accessing the House computer system since early February.
A month ago, three Muslim American brothers who managed office IT were barred from congressional computers (on suspicion that they accessed computers without permission). While many congressmen immediately relieved them of their duties, two House Democrats decided to delay the firing (until today) because their Muslim background, some with ties to Pakistan, could make them easy targets for false charges.

Democrats Delayed Firing Pakistani IT ‘Hackers’ Because They Were Muslim
“They had provided great service for me. And there were certain times in which they had permission by me, if it was Hina or someone else, to access some of my data.”
