You know constitutional law?

There have been no amendments to the constitution for two hundred years.
The last proposal took 202 years to ratify having been submitted in 1789 and ratified finally in
1992 after a student in Texas found it in 1982 and realized it was still in committee and submitted it for ratification. That had to do with congressional pay and had actuallt been submitted as part and parcel with the bill of rights but failed to get approved by all the states.
Sooooooo constitutional amendments probably aren't the way to go that takes too long.

Care and consideration is all anyone is asking for.
Trump seems unable to accomplish this.

I hope not. But people do retire, and a couple are getting up their in age.

Only to trump supporters. Most people see the separation of the three branches of government as a good thing. A rule that has served us extremely well.
But baby trump comes along and thinks if he stamps his feet and tweets in all caps he can just get his way.
He's getting schooled pretty quickly now.

The EO doesn't specify any vetting changes, nor will that happen via EO. It will happen through policy changes with the people who handle immigration. The problem is that no one has been able to articulate what sort of changes we need. We already screen people through 19 different agencies, cross referenced with international databases as well as our own. Multiple interviews, and a near 2 year waiting list while this stuff all happens. When it comes to immigration, we're more stringent with people already than basically any other country in the world.

So what exactly are we supposed to do different once the temporary ban is over?

I expect Trump to get two more appointments. And they'll be replacing the left side of the court, the right side is relatively young. I can't say that thrills me, but it is what it is. Pendulums do like to swing.

Judges don't make laws. They interpret them.
Laws are submitted as bills written by congress. Then discussed in committee then voted on then sent to the Senate where they do the whole dance again then it goes to the president to sign.
No judge or even a whisper from the judiciary branch of government.

Yes I know how its supposed to work. The problem is activists judges that do more than just interpret if a law is constitutional or not. But that is in the eye of the beholder I guess.

Did you know that the 9th circuit is overruled 80% of the time when its gets to the supreme court?

That means 80% of the time, the supreme court thinks that the 9th's ruling was not based on the constitution.

That sounds like a circuit that is attempting to make law, not interpret it.

We all get it.

It's the freaking how that is the debate and trumps slash and grab method is bass ackwards.

He can't do this job. Ill say it every week until he is gone. He is unfit for the office.
He was great as a showman where his decisions never affected millions. He has no business trying to run our country. He has zero qualifications to do so.
