One more thing.

Trump haters need to pace themselves.

2 years is a very long time.

4 years even longer.

They keep this up they are going to lose in 2020 too.

In the responses to the OP, yes. We can see the hypocrisy

Nice deflection again. Are you even aware of this though? Doubt it

So you admit he lies. That wasn't so hard, was it?

When have I ever denied he lies? Ever?
There's a difference between pointing out the insignificant value of these things and saying he doesn't lie. You expect us to grab pitch forks or something ?

Not sure what you mean

Of course you don't, it isn't the first time you convienently disappeared from a debate when you have nothing left to stand on.

You're only proving my point. Look at how readily you could list things that other politicians said that weren't true?

Its not like he lied about being under sniper fire or anything.. or having "sexual relations" or lied about weapons of mass destruction If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor...

Right off the top of your head right? That's because you hold all of those other politicians to a different standard than you do Trump. And let's face it, you're not alone. Trump supporters and those who don't want Trump to be exposed to criticism have lowered the bar so far that his constant barrage of lies, alt-facts and mischaracterizations aren't — in their eyes — even worth discussing.

In my opinion, instead of questioning his credibility, you've just come to accept the steady stream of bulls# as being the new norm and assume he's not lying about the things you want to believe are true.

He's at least doing something. The old potus gave alternative facts and then really didn't do a whole lot. My favorite was that Benghazi was because of a YouTube video, do you remember that zinger right before the election?

Yeah well I'm sure his apologists will stroke out well before then. Two weeks in and Kellyanne Conway was already making up the Bowling Green Massacre.

My favorite part about your threads are the Trump pictures.

Thanks! The Donald J Smalley and smoking bible images were one's I made for the thread.

Sure Glad you brought that up.

Several dozen suspected terrorist bombmakers, including some believed to have targeted American troops, may have mistakenly been allowed to move to the United States as war refugees, according to FBI agents investigating the remnants of roadside bombs recovered from Iraq and Afghanistan.

The discovery in 2009 of two al Qaeda-Iraq terrorists living as refugees in Bowling Green, Kentucky -- who later admitted in court that they'd attacked U.S. soldiers in Iraq -- prompted the bureau to assign hundreds of specialists to an around-the-clock effort aimed at checking its archive of 100,000 improvised explosive devices collected in the war zones, known as IEDs, for other suspected terrorists' fingerprints.

As a result of the Kentucky case, the State Department stopped processing Iraq refugees for six months in 2011, federal officials told ABC News – even for many who had heroically helped U.S. forces as interpreters and intelligence assets. One Iraqi who had aided American troops was assassinated before his refugee application could be processed, because of the immigration delays, two U.S. officials said. In 2011, fewer than 10,000 Iraqis were resettled as refugees in the U.S., half the number from the year before, State Department statistics show.

abcnews.go.com...

Now tell me how the people that had their sons killed and maimed by IEDS over there would feel about two of those people that were responsible were settled down right next to them?

Trump critics are playing with fire.

It's not a deflection if I directly address your assertion. Do you know what deflection is?

When have I ever denied he lies? Ever? There's a difference between pointing out the insignificant value of these things and saying he doesn't lie.

I did not claim you denied it. I was pointing-out the ease in which one can admit and address the lies, instead of truly deflecting, which appears the be the standard response in such cases.

Of course you don't, it isn't the first time you conviently disappeared from a debate when you have nothing left to stand on.

Still not sure what you are referring to. Let me just say that there does come a point in which it becomes pointless to continue a debate. You are correct that I will leave a discussion when the debate evolves in to deep levels of stupidity. If I am thinking of the correct thread, that is why I left. I don't like to argue with idiots. They beat you with experience.

Also, not quite sure why you're focused on me, instead of the topic at hand.

16 Fake News Stories Reporters Have Run Since Trump Won

How can anyone take the media seriously? Especially after their newfound love for hard hitting journalism after 8 years of being lap dogs. You yourself never did these threads on the lies coming from the Obama administration. Why are you suddenly so concerned with the truth? (you dont really need to answer because it's obvious)

I think one big difference I never saw folks defending Obama like Trump Supporters do.

The old adage holds true here. Actions speak louder than words. It actually gets more complex because what may seem like a bad deed, in the bigger picture, is for the greater good.

One thing I have noticed during this election season that seems more prevalent than before, is deflection has become an acceptable debate tactic.

Instead of discussing or debating what you have presented, we now allow people to deflect and change the focus to convenient scapegoats, like the media.

It will interesting to see if anyone will debate the topic with you, instead of being intellectually lazy.

Donald Trump is pretty good at manipulation. In this case, he simply picked up on the longstanding GOP strategy of deflecting by blaming "the liberal media" and right from the beginning, he was putting press in a pen at the back of his rallies and using them as a prop.

When Trump supporters discuss his relationship with the media, Trump is usally portrayed as the victim. Trump is a media creation and he's used ginned up animosity for the media to galvanize his supporters and to deflect from his many many many many lies. They're just following suit.

Stroke out???? Wow dude... Have you seen WHO is setting themselves on fire and destroying things?????? The far left has already had a massive collective stroke.. The right isn't stroking, yet laughing actually, in pity and disbelief.

Another big difference is the article points to 16 instances of "fake news" (some of them are really bad journalism others not so much) from among thousands of members of the media — Donald Trump is solely responsible for more "fake news" than the entire media combined.

I was clearly referring to the hypocrisy of the OP, but instead you deflected to the responses. Not deflection? Lol

You set a great example of how not to deflect though. By the way you really think OP expects us to put as much effort as he does into nit-picking such insignificant things?

yes yes, some more deflecting. It's OK though. As long as we both know the truth that's all that matters. You know what the true sign of defeat is? When somebody resorts to name calling lol.

I focused on you because the irony of your logic is a sight to behold. Dont worry I'll leave you alone from now on.

I read the first five. You're stretching bruh. For example, the Time magazine "record." You don't provide enough context to tell if it's a lie or not. You make it sound as if Trump said he had the record. But the quote you provide makes it sound like Trump was saying he thought he might have the record for being on the cover the most times of anyone else in the same year. Did Nixon cover Time 55 times in the same year? If not, it doesn't sound like these two things are comparable.

Then next, the Tweet "Celebs hurt the cause badly." You don't provide context. This is referencing not just one instance, but celebrities throughout the entire campaign. And it's true, celebs did hurt the cause. Plenty of independent people had to swerve right to install Trump. Plenty of those were totally turned off by sister molester 'wish I'd had an abortion' Lena Dunham, and other celebrities. Democrats aligned themselves with idiotic celebrities, and it hurt them.

You think she'll resort to posting thread after thread after thread? Rioting at a speech being given because she's so "tolerant" she just can't stand to allow the speaker to actually open their mouth?

That kind of "stroke out?" Or do conservatives have a different kind of "stroke out" than all the "stroking out" the lefties have been doing lately?

This is a quote from your source: politifact

If you were a Muslim, you could come in, if you were a Christian, it was impossible."

and this is the quote from your OP: from NPR

If you were a Muslim you could come in, but if you were a Christian, it was almost impossible

see the problem there?

let`s make truth great again and lets start with the media.

that one glaring and obvious lie is enough to tell me that the rest of your OP is probably riddled with lies, and spin so I`m not going to bother reading it.
