I'm confused ATS.

Every time I attempt to go on to ATS from my cell phone I am inundated with tons of redirects to suspicious websites.

I'm confused as to why ATS has allowed these redirects/advertisements/pop ups on their website?

Is ATS already aware of this? It's frustrating to say the least.

I use my phone on ATS 99 percent of the time, never seen what your talking of.
I'm using an android phone with the ghostery browser, what are you using?
I also set my phone's browser to desktop mode in its settings, maybe some as small as doing that will help you avoid those type of ad.

Thank you for the tip.

However, I'm still flabbergasted that ATS allows this to happen on their website. I'm using a regular iPhone 7 on it's normal browser. Which means a lot of other people are getting the same thing when they try to browse.

Are you logging in? I get no redirects at all from my phone, however if I remember correctly after a certain amount of posts, or some metric, you get less obtrusive adds...Im sure Ill be corrected if Im wrong, but I believe it has something to do with a desire to reward content driven posting rather than one off statements...again I could be wrong, but its a long time since I had those problems and it seemed to be post, or thread submission driven.

It is not the fault of ATS, probably browser related. Just to be safe I would also scan your phone for viruses.

It is only when I browse ATS, more specifically when I go to the "new" tab.

That's weird. I never get redirected while using my phone. Maybe something with your phone. I'm not super technical but I know the number one IT solution. Reboot

I'm having somewhat the same experience. I browse the site from my old iPad w/default Safari browser. I _never_ log-on from that device to anything. It serves as a web surfing tool exclusively.

Lately ... ATS is crankier than ever. The pages auto-reload constantly. You can't scroll past the first set of advertisements under the OP. It's an inhospitable and impractical exercise.

However, none of the 'other' sites I browse to "Drudge", and a couple of gun sites, throws me for a loop ... just ATS.

I try to do my part to help ATS auto-generate ad revenue ... but it's really getting to be too much.

Yep, I started getting the same thing about a month ago. It locked up my phone and I called Apple to help me out. I stay off ATS on my phone now.

I only use my computer, and have issues as well. If I stay on the main page, or the top stories page, for more than a minute, the whole browser will freeze up, and I'll have to shut t down via the task manager. No issues like that on ANY other site that I visit. Quite annoying, really. It wasn't always this way. Watching the little address thing at he bottom of the screen, all sorts of wild stuff shows up, and I'd guess that's where the delay is. I don't allow redirects, so likely, the lag is from the pages trying to load, and unable.

IDK but from my computer today I keep getting redirected to an add but the url still shows as www.abovetopsecret.com It's only doing that on this website, and so far, only today. Weird.

Probably depends on your phones software or it's server, ATS itself has caution queries from some servers, or the broadband connection/browser. It could be self inflicted I suppose as well.

Use a different browser and review your options within that browser. There is a way.

Because it's you and your phone, settings, server, antivirus protection, sites you visit, leave open running in the background, bookmarks, favorites, ad choices, notifications... All that.

I and a few 100,000 site members have no issues, never have. So, you need to at minimum... Reset browser, remove cookies, history and clear caches on phone... And if you have 'em... Tablet, home pc. and laptop... It's not us

Good luck!

It happens to me too, once every week or two at least. I'm on an iphone6. Usually if I wait and try again a few hours later it clears up. It's pretty disconcerting when it happens.

Some are from your ISP and some are your ISP and regional. I don't get that on my phone while logged in.

In a previous thread I tested Verizon and At&T, I just tested AT&T and Spectrum. I got no ads or redirects or popups.
