Now this is really trippy. Each planet gives off its own frequency (tone). Check em out here:

(so far NONE of these sound great to me)

Wow. This thread could take awhile to get through completely.
Interesting song choices and interesting to know that they impact on the different members who have contributed.

It's interesting and wonderful, yes! Thanks for sharing your own personal favorite. Still working my own way through here. But it's been great fun

Found it! (Rollins song) I have no idea if it actually resembles the one you posted or if they're both just spoken word or what but I'm going to post it first before finding yours.

The video is hilarious! His good-guy glasses..

I listened to this again. It does hit that visceral point.

I love music. Even tried my hand at it, but I was never good. I used to play the violin, the cello, flute, piano and guitar. Lousy at all of them but it entertained me and my mother.
I think you will like these.

Showing my age again.

This song had amazing impact on me in 2005, right around the time I started ridding my mind of shackles.

There are several Rap songs that I really like. I don't know if I don't like something until I listen to it.

So far I have not found any style of music where I hated every song I have heard in that genre.

Even my friend's Chinese music, I have some songs I like, though I will admit so far, more that I don't.

Just pressed play, closed my eyes and was transported. Thank you for these!

So funny- I, too, tried my hand at music (guitar), and I was no good either. I can basically strum and sing along, decent enough voice (sometimes) but no talent at that instrument

But I am a very talented art appreciator.. lol.. which is just as important as creating the art. After all, if we were all creators, who would be our audience?

Glad to hear that I wasn't sending music your way that you didn't care for
If you couldn't tell from this thread, I also enjoy a wide variety of music. Haven't heard too much Chinese music though!

Thanks again for your wonderful contributions to this thread!

PS: Now I'm curious.. what's an example of a rap song you like? Or do you not follow the musicians and just know it when you hear it?

The link you posted isn't available to viewers in my country.. if you don't mind I'll post it again here.

Listening now. Good heavy sound.

If you care to elaborate on the shackles or the process of freeing one's self I'd be very interested to hear!

AMEN my all time fav's have been Pink Floyd. They basically are for MAN and not THE man.... Love their observations.

"Dogs of war and men of hate. There's no cause , they don't discriminate. Discovery is to be disowned....."
