I was actually reading some stories today of airlines making women move seats when islamist have a seat next to them because these islamist said they could not sit next to a woman.
Rosa Parks rolling in her grave.

Then I looked outside to see protest about the issue. I seen none.

I get it dont like blacks or muslims, only white christians. Ill make sure I remember. I see you are offended when people blacks or muslims step on your turf and receive expressions of high or special regard or deference. Do you get offended as well if you watch a movie and the white woman makes love to a black man?

I think "white nationalist" was coined by someone in the FBI. I'd be interested in the truth on this....the only reference to etymology that I find is a reference in Merriam Webster about it being first coined in 1970.

Why?

"White Nationalist" is a term that White Nationalists use to identify themselves...it is also different than White Supremacist or White Separatist.

Is it your contention that "White Nationalism" is an FBI Conspiracy?

And just for research sake...I found a NYT Archive article from 1954 that used the term..
I won't invest more times searching other archives, since the question seems poorly thought out to begin with..

REDS GUIDE FIGHT ON MALAN RACISM; Heads of Once-Banned South African Party Win Control Over Negro-Indian Bloc

confidential steering committee. This consolidation and centralization of control of the Negro and Indian struggle against white Nationalist racialism in Communist hands is the result of a long and successful infiltration effort.

August 08, 1954 - Special to The New York Times - Print Headline: "REDS GUIDE FIGHT ON MALAN RACISM; Heads of Once-Banned South African Party Win Control Over Negro-Indian Bloc"

Linking is not possible, but you can google NYTs Archives and search yourself...If you actually care about answers..vs. just inferring that "White Nationalism" is a conspiracy..

"The Alt-right hold what are regarded as typically far-right views such as racial and religious segregation strong avocation of second amendment rights, strong limitation of government power and with a strong conspiracy twist. This is an ideology that feels the left has taken over with political correctness and social equality and welfare. Right now the big topic within the alt-right is the belief, or the fear, that Islam is going to take over America."

Apparently, the Alt-Right are now being categorized into terrorists according to the new accepted norms. Personally, I believe you are using a broad definition on most of this. Most of the Alt-Right believes that everyone has the right to the practice of their own religion, but when another religion calls them racist, they just want to be allowed to practice the religion of their choice, not someone else's (Constitutional Right). The 2nd Amendment needs to be left alone, as it is the Amendment that protects all of the other Amendments. Without it, we can't stop the restriction on any other Amendment. You have the right to bear arms, period (Constitutional Right). The Limitation of government power is possibly the most important belief of everything you mentioned. Even the founding fathers knew what big government did to the people and they wrote clauses into it to prevent large government (Constitution text). The strong conspiracy twist has been mis-named for a long time. You are confusing a conspiracy with people asking for evidence to show the truth. Before you try to fall back on your crutch, no I am not an Alt-Right , Democrat, Republican, etc. I believe in the Constitution and everything it says. We have strayed way too far away from it. No, it's not outdated and it doesn't need to be altered.

What interesting times these are that we live in. I'm 34 years old, I'm white, and grew up in a lower middle class two parent family that leaned heavily toward the left. My parents divorced when I was ten but were both still very much in my life (mom left and I lived with dad, but still saw her pretty much daily), and I was raised to believe that Bill Clinton was one of the best presidents ever, with his sexual proclivities viewed only as an inconvenient vice. Now because I support Donald Trump I'm seen as an "alt right" mysoginist.

We rented our house for $500 a month from a family member that had owned many houses in a small radius so I enjoyed the privilege of growing up with strong bonds with my aunts and uncles and grandparents and what have you. We had everything we needed, but definitely didn't have any "extra" money. Yearly camping trips into the Stanislaus was our big vacation to look forward too. My family got by on our own with no government help and now because I own my own home and don't need help from the government to pay my bills I'm seen as an "alt-right" person with lack of compassion for the poor.

My dad sold his gun (a beautiful Dan Wesson .357 magnum revolver) because he didn't want his children to ever have an accident with it, but he did take us to a family friends land where we could shoot and learn proper gun safety to respect the weapon. I am now fond of guns and am seen as an "alt-right" gun nut.

The high school I went to was the same one my dad went to. It was almost all white and black people when he went, and by the time I graduated it had been overwhelmingly Asian (Chinese, Indian, etc.). The people in those cultures tend to move to areas highly populated with their own culture, and it grows and grows. I completely respect that but if when I moved to an area that had more of the culture I fee up around (i.e. "White people), I'm considered an "alt-right" racist.

I don't know at what point that I turned into the devil in the eyes of many and I really don't care. I voted for Obama twice and yet this year if I dared to vocally support Trump I would be shunned by many friends and family, so my only way to voice my opinion was in the voting booth.

People like me are sick and tired of being made to feel like we are racist or sexist or homophobic or gun nuts or any other number of "ists" because we may have a difference of opinion. That is why Trump won and why he is in office.

You people brought this onto yourselves.

I think one of the first informal rules of communicating with Alt-Right is you don't talk about Alt-Right.

And let's be fair here.... Alt-Right is an umbrella term. Using an umbrella term to define people is by its very nature going to associate people with traits that don't apply to them. There is a guilt by association nature to the Alt-Right umbrella term.

Also, Alt-Right is a trigger, and so if we're trying to agitate, by all means, bring it up... but if we want to try to reach out... I would suggest being good liberals, and recognize "alt-right" as a trigger, and focus more on the objectionable traits.

It appears YOU are the one accusing YOU of being Alt-Right?

...umm...

I own my home, I own guns? Most of my friends consider me liberal?

You seem to have a problem with you...Gun and home ownership is not part of defining the "Alt-Right" ?

How to help?...All Wolves are Canines..All Labrador Retrievers are Canines...All Poodles are Canines...Poodles are not wolves.

Supporting Donald Trump does not make anyone Alt-Right...But the Alt Right supported Donald trump..he was their Big Daddy Troll...or as Milo and others like to brag, Donald trolled his way to the WH with their help.

to the right on this thread...

Hillary using the word "deplorables".....every post that has this in it, fails to use the rest of her sentence about the "50%" part....in other words, Hillary actually said that 50% (in her view) of the right are upstanding, reasonable, and responsible people.....and yet, EVERY POST by a right-winger ASSUMES that she said ALL republicans are deplorables, including themselves.
this country now has a president that has picked several key cabinet posts where the head of each one, doesn't have ANY EXPERIENCE in that field, or that has actively sought out it's destruction. he is setting up these various departments for failure, not success, and when they do start to stumble and have failures, he can point to them, and say, "see, I was right"...

this country now has a president that says day after day that the MSM is fake news, even when they quote trumps own words. even this morning, I heard Steve Ducey on FOX NEWS say that the popular vote win by Hillary, was part of this fake MSM news.

this country now has a president that thinks people that have spent most of their lifetime in government service are incompetent. and yet, do you think that trump would hire his own personal business accountants and business lawyers WITHOUT ANY experience in accounting or law?

this country now has a president that wants to bring back jobs to America, and yet his own products, that he has sold and profited from, were produced outside this country by foreign workers.

I could go on....but, none of the above even seems to matter to the trump voter here on ATS, because it is simply dismissed as "lefty propaganda", but all the above have real consequences in the real world.

The dismissal of facts by Trump voters is a breakdown I'm not sure how can be resolved. If all the MSM is fake, and the majority of scientists are liars.... those beliefs confine a person to a very small space... I've heard people say the fact that all major institutions are against DT (MSM, science, scholars, etc) is a sign that he's right... When you've reached that level of a breakdown in critical thinking, it really doesn't leave much room for reasoned discussion.

No inference. Didn't mean to imply such.

In a past reading, i just recall that it was originally coined, or maybe taken up by, the FBI.

The FBI, by the way, doesn't need any additional conspiracy.
They've done well on their own.

ATS definitely has turned into a right-wing echo chamber, almost every thread is about Trump or his administration and with the same people slapping each other on the back in every single one while simultaneously putting an entire demographic down and talking about them as if they are less than human.

Funny...i see it the exact opposite. Nothing but anti Trump threads with the same people lodging the same ad homs against him over and over.

The problem here... is the contravention of language and meaning.

If you look at the majority of material, including video, about the topic of "Alt-Right", it is almost ALL latter year 2016 created.

Ever wonder why that is? It was seen as a useful "language virus" to use against folks who pushed back on the manipulations of propaganda in the media and politics of America. Pile some "dog whistle" word bomb-lets onto it... and now it's truly a repugnant thing. Doesn't matter if it doesn't fit the majority of Trump supporters beliefs about policy and culture... that's not the point! It's a way to use a single word to make presumed large swaths of Americans repugnant and reviled as "bad people".

The history of co-opting, or coining, words and definitions to use as effective pejorative language memes is probably as old as mankind. In America... after the Kennedy assassination, there were MANY mainstream Americans who were not buying the approved narrative of the government. I was 6 years old, and I remember the spirited conversations of the adults after a martini or 2 about how something was clearly "fishy" about the whole thing.

Enter, the C.I.A., and their well crafted pejorative "language meme"; Conspiracy Theory!

How nice of our government to cook up a language meme to be used as a club to beat down and label good Americans as "kooks"!

That's what the meme dynamics of the term "Alt-Right" actually are now. It's been altered by the left and left media to label anyone who voted for Trump as "racist and xenophobic." Who cares if they are not, right?

With all due respect... f**k anyone who stoops so low with the intent of increasing divisiveness!

Immigration only works if it is legal . Being a conservative and strict constitutionalist is not alt-right . Politics and government are in no way bipartisan . They do not work anymore .

We all have feelings, and we can debate those until we are blue in the face.

However, when it comes to the facts, feelings don't matter. I clearly showed how almost all of the most popular threads on ATS are anti Trump or left leaning threads.

This is true almost all of the time.

Yet when I laid out the evidence, that by the way you can check again right now by clicking the ATS homepage, not one of these people that FEEL ATS is a right wing echo chamber had any comment.

This seems to be a common tactic with many on the left. The facts don't matter, only the narrative.

You are out of your depth completely here. Milo is not a leader of the Alt-right, that is just the ignorant mainstream media doing their normal propaganda.

HRC decided to use the Alt-Right as the new "Nazi" label to further the "racism" narrative that they were shoving down our throats.

Your belief that people are hiding their racism behind their political beliefs is absolute nonsense. Your point of view has been hand delivered into your brain by corporate propaganda, which is the exact result the corporate propagandists are going for.

Wow, this is such a huge failure of thought processes. Let me offer a rebuttal:
On the hillary quote, you're also leaving out the irredeemable portion of the quote. Further, we all know who she was talking about. The 50% that she doesn't hate is the john mccain types, the types that speak conservative but vote liberal. The deplorables are those who agree with the (not so) "muslim ban" and "building a wall" to stem illegal immigration.

"where the head of each one, doesn't have ANY EXPERIENCE in that field"
Administrators don't need experience in a field other than administration. Trump has picked administrators.

"or that has actively sought out it's [departments] destruction. he is setting up these various departments for failure, not success"
Yes, we would love to shut down the EPA, DOE (both of them), and ATF. This is success by our measure. You're viewing things through your world view which is why you see failure, he's failing your expectations, not mine. Which is good, because I voted for him, not you.

"this country now has a president that says day after day that the MSM is fake news"
It is. I mean, some of what they report may be accurate, but by a large margin they report propaganda and spin everything against the president. They don't do this when dems are in power, weird.

"this country now has a president that thinks people that have spent most of their lifetime in government service are incompetent."
Yes and no. Yes, because those currently at the top, are. And if they aren't, they haven't been doing what he wants them to do, so they are not able to achieve his goals AKA incompetent. No, because he can't trust them, I'm sure there are many that he thinks do a great job or are very capable, but he can't trust them to do his bidding when his bidding would have them jobless. Have to have outsiders do that.

"this country now has a president that wants to bring back jobs to America, and yet his own products... are made elsewhere."
Trump doesn't think he can EO businesses back to the USA. He knows that the regulatory and tax climates have to change. He;'s not going to bring his back before those things change, luckily he's going to try to change the business climate.

"I could go on....but, none of the above even seems to matter to the trump voter..."
Thank goodness you stopped, you looked sillier with each line. Next time try on someone else's shoes before complaining. Try to see things from outside your world view.

Interesting OP and well done for bringing out the conversation.

I will not get involved other that to say that one thing reading through this thread that is made very clear, that labeling a person completely undermines the ability to engage in a rational conversation.

As soon a person feels they have been put into a box they immediately retaliate and attempt to categorize their accuser. Whats more is that you do not even need to directly accuse a person of this behavior to receive a reaction from them, sometimes people will categorize themselves as we have seen in this thread.

It seems there will only be attacks back and forth with this kind of thinking.

All I see is when Obama was in office the left defended him. Now that Trump is president the right defends him. The left is belittling Trump the same as the right belittled Obama
Now people can call it whatever they want, alt left or alt right it pretty much adds up to the same old BS. Guess who is winning..........that's right.......TPTB. They are playing us. Lets keep being good little sheeple we wouldn't want to ruffle their feathers.
