That is "simpler"? You have added four letters and two syllables.

I finish most of my posts with Ellipses. Don't know why just started doing it one day about 7 years ago...

Overuse of ellipsis does not bother me. I like to type as close as I can to how I would be speaking the sentence.
Ellipses convey a sense of foreboding even though that's not the way they were intended.

I will also use all caps on single words for emphasis rather than the tiresome act of using bold or italics as well.

One habit I tend to go overboard on sometimes is using a dash when a period or comma would work but to me, it seems like it again, replicates how I would actually be speaking it. Somehow a little different(shorter?) than using the correct punctuation.

And don't get me started on my bad habit of adding a smiley face at nearly every sentence in a chat message.

It's all about communication, my friend. Well done.

Ummm...I...Uh...love me some ellipsis...

So much so...that it bothers me no end...to see a sheer wall of text...

I totally agree...they help the flow of communication on the webs...
They also illustrate...inflection...

Yes....a wall of text peppered with ellipsis's(ellipsi?) is esthetically pleasing to look at.

I never cease to be amazed by how smart people who think like me are.
