Well I spoke too soon. Bad month but looking to get out of this hospital this week. Stabilizing finally. Then we can chat. I appreciate the support. Damn fine community.

I did get out that weekend and moved the next. To a more invalid friendly apt, 1 block from the hospital. Very weak and tired. I wouldn't be on now but have to find an apt for my mother. I doubt I could lift 30lbs. And the diet. Yuck. A gram of salt/day. There/s salt in everything, even milk. And no more than 1.5 liters of fluids/day. That's equal to 4 cans of coke. Going to be hard in the summer.

I've seen the transplant committee and have been approved. Now the wait. Could be a couple of months, could be over a year.

Happy note: Connor called me "Grandpa" for the first time today.
