Happy I Finally Joined

Hi all,

I've been a long time reader here on ATS and have been intending to join for quite a while now. I'm glad I finally did - it's time to contribute to this great site.

A bit about myself, I'm Australian, a science graduate, I have had a life long interest in the paranormal and all things unknown (and possibly even unknowable), I have a very open mind and I am willing to invest time researching most topics, no matter how absurd they may seem at first when they hit my world view. I am also interested in global politics, that is, standing back to see the bigger picture.

I look forward to discussing topics with you all and thanks in advance for any replies.

Welcome and have fun in the forums. Once you get deep into posts and creating your threads you will see yourself wake up to a new light....just watch out this site gets to be pretty addicting

I'm fairly recent here too. And while half of America wants a ban on new arrivals, and the other half doesn't know what it wants and is hving a temper tantrum, ATS still welcomes each newcomer with joy.

I'm currently sweltering in sunny New South Wales. But it's ok, I've channelled my inner child and am warding of the heat with a healthy supply of zooper doopers.

I'm in Northern Rivers of NSW, I can't recall a summer this hot in the last 20 years at least, we actually measured 50.8 deg in my back yard about three weeks ago (that's about 123 def Fahrenheit), highest temp I've ever been through and boy did that sun have some sting in it.
