Here is the list of Dems who voted unanimously for him the first time.

He has performed his judicial duties to the highest level ever since, without scandal or controversy.

So these Dems will look awfully silly if they decide to contradict their own judgement now.

What? How does saying he is qualified for a lower court equal he is qualified for the highest court?

Please, by all means...
Tell me what on earth disqualifies Gorsuch from the highest court...

His resume is astoundingly strong for the SCOTUS...
Absolutely astounding...
Gorsuch was an intellectual behemoth since he was a kid...

He was a Truman scholar at Harvard law school and a Marshall scholar at Oxford where he received his doctorate in philosophy of law for christs sake....

He clerked for not 1, but 2 Supreme Court justices...

Oh yeah, he was a partner at a major D.C. firm for the better part of a decade only leaving when he was appointed to federal appeals judge..

For the love of Allah, what more do you want??
I'm genuinely curious..what makes him anything BUT qualified?

****judge Gorsuch has written 777 opinions...he is a brilliant writer...."brilliant" may not be sufficient...so where in his litany of decisions do u find disqualification....please enlighten us

-Chris

He supports the Hobby Lobby ruling, which gives a company "religious" freedoms. More then enough to block him in my opinion.

He is against "judicial activism" yet he supports the Hobby Lobby ruling. Fairly big conflict in his opinions.

That may be the most obtuse thing I've ever read on ATS...

And that's saying something considering there are entire thread dedicated to the earth being flat…
So pat yourself in the back...

The obtuse thing is to deny others' rights due to religious rights?

I wonder if chuck schumer will cry tonight...

Let's all pray to Allah, Mohamed(and his wife Aisha) that senator schumer is in a safe space where triggering can be controlled...

Also, I can't believe y'all are questioning his bond fides...wow

The hypocritical nature of liberal logic is profound...profoundly pathetic

Thank-you for that full list of current Democrats who voted "YEA" for Judge Gorsuch, the last time they had the opportunity to vote YEA or NEA.

My Senator (DICK DURBIN of Illinois) didn't waste any time appearing on the local Chicago news tonight. He blasted Donald Trump for acting like he owns the Supreme Court seat vacated by Judge Scalia.

Thank goodness Al Gore invented the internet, or we wouldn't have easy access to a lot of tools that can be used to hold people accountable. When Elijah Cummings told the world that Donald Trump's inauguration was the first one he'd ever skipped, within 5 minutes, he was proven to be a liar.

I hope Neil Gorsuch will be confirmed, we need more Supreme Court Judges like him on the bench. Use the nuclear option, you know damn well the democrats would do it.

Sigh, The right is completely lost it.
Spend over a year blocking the very nominee they said the Obama wouldn't nominate.
Now the right is crying when dems object to rushing through Trump's pick.

Blocking Obama probably saved the country. Thank God for that.

What was so obtuse about what I wrote?

Trump's supreme court pick is against Judicial Activism yet supports the Hobby Lobby ruling.

Someone needs a history lesson. Check how long Bush had left in office when the Dems blocked his SCOTUS pick. Then check how long Obama had left in office when The Rep's blocked his SCOTUS pick.

Check how the Dems passed their last pick when they had a majority.
Then watch how the Reps will pass their current pick since they have a majority.

Cry when the other side does it, act like it's normal when you're side does it.
