When pressed about whether Republicans would employ the nuclear option this week, McConnell simply said: "The nominee will be confirmed."

So scream, cry, stomp your feet, protest, or riot this is a done deal.

“I think we should do whatever it takes to get him confirmed," the former presidential candidate said on Fox News's "Hannity" Tuesday night.
Cruz also praised Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) for the position he has taken as Democrats threaten to block a Trump nominee.

Evangelical Christian Ted Cruz was later spotted DANCING as he was giddy because of trumps scotus selection.

The real irony will be when the left cries foul about the confirmation passing by a simple majority.

One should note they like the protections a super majority voting requirement provides when they are in the minority during confirmations, but stomp their feet and demand the abolishment of the electoral college when they are the majority in Presidential elections.

The universe clearly has a sense of humor.

Sigh, The right is completely lost it.
Spend over a year blocking the very nominee they said the Obama wouldn't nominate.
Now the right is crying when dems object to rushing through Trump's pick.

Obama never had a majority in the Congress.

Trump does. Their efforts will be futile.

Funny thing is, if dems cry about the nuclear option being used. They literally used it to get 2 out of 3 of Obama's appointments.

Wow. I wonder now if our ousted Missou Professor
Clickbait hs a sister? I think they're both kind of cute
when they're not about to explode...
It's as if the Democrats see themselves with an infinite
supply of political traction compound-- after the Don
already has his helmet and half the fire suit off at the
top end collecting his Wally.
If you are or know a drag racing fan you'd get it... but
more without a meta-less they don't look at all mentally
solid fighting a cause this far lost before they start. The
nominee is going to be harder to smear than Pope Lenny.

I can't understand why the left would want to block a guy considered a strict constitutionalist. It's almost as if they hate America and the constitution. Go figure...

Haha beautiful compilation.

They made it this way too. They changed the rules.

Democrats, by fiat, altered the way the Senate interprets Rule XXII, which governs the procedure for cutting off debate and ending a filibuster. The rule continues to prescribe that when a cloture vote occurs, the question must be put, "Is it the sense of the Senate that the debate shall be brought to a close?"

It goes on to state that cloture is invoked if "the question [is] decided in the affirmative by three-fifths of the Senators duly chosen and sworn."

I think we can work up a consensus around here Faux.
It looks to maybe a lot of us that a LOT of them like their
own way-- way more than that GD piece of restrictions.

It's kind of telling to me anyway, when somebody almost
normal gets panned by the talking heads even before the
business day after. But I'll still be watching with some
interest what they try to do about calling that 'normal'
unsuitable for the Big Bench. Time for convolutions.

What if the Democrats don't show up to vote? They're holding up the nominations of PRICE and SESSIONS for days, using this childish tactic.

Their jobs as a check on the president. Which is the very thing republicans did for 6 years.

I hope this video compilation reaches every corner of the internet and FoxNews plays it several days a day, if Schumer and his Democrat colleagues act like babies during the confirmation process.

Didn't somebody also post one in another thread showing Chuck Schumer and other Democratic Senators voting "YES" to confirm Judge Gorsuch for the U.S. Court of Appeals, 10th District? This would be perfect ammunition for making them look foolish, if it comes to that.
