This is exactly the kind of behavior not being loudly admonished, discouraged, and shut down by the left that's stopping me from returning to the side of the aisle who's policies I more believe in.

We need to end this #. We need to stop enabling it, and put it down. No making excuses for it, no denying how bad it is, no pussy footing around it, no whining because we're being associated with it.

This is what more and more people think of the left because, we #ing enable it, we shrug it off, make excuses for these people, we don't take a stand against these people, many that do so in the name of left wing ideologies. It's the left's fault we're being associated with it, cause we're not doing a damn thing to really disassociate ourselves from it. It's our fault, not theirs.

Well I won't let all these rioters, and hate spreading racists speak for me. I'm here calling them out. As I have been. I want to be able to vote my ideals, but I can't as long as we keep letting crazy people speak in our name.

It's not the right's responsibility to do something about this, it's ours. We're the ones that need to be screaming the loudest about how wrong this stuff is. It's the only way to distance the left from it, as well as do something to make the left not look completely #ing rabid and nuts to calm rational normal people.

I'm not really right wing so not everyone on the left is completely nuts, not everyone on the left makes excuses for this behavior, I fully understand why this behavior is associated with the left. We on the left have begun letting the loudest most vulgar people speak in our name unchallenged. We've allowed many among us to become rabid beasts, and rather than pulling an Old Yeller for the good of all, we're too weak to put the dog down and end the sickness.

We on the left are the ones with the power to end all this. We're the only ones that can do so with the least amount of damage to not only our society but innocent people on both sides. We're associated with it because we completely refuse to do so.

Before this election, I always assumed the extreme wing was a minority on the left. Now, I'm not so sure.

I just wish it'd sink in. I can't save the left by myself. Honestly I'm not sure I should. Sometimes something needs to be torn down so it can be rebuilt again. We were this "" close to getting Hillary elected to represent us. I'm afraid we're too far gone to save. Maybe it would be best to help it crash hard so something better that truly represents the left without all the corruption and lunacy can take it's place.

The end of the two party system would be a great thing. Problem is, it appears the third parties that are large enough to be worth mentioning has been corrupted as well... I'm not actually sure what the solution is.

I just know allowing certain undeniably vulgar behaviors to be done in our name without drastically distancing ourselves from it, and allowing the administration to put crony capitalist political mercenaries up to represent us and voting for them no matter how little they represent us, simply because of the letter beside their name, is definitely not it.

Throughout that video all I could think about was this scene from Black Sheep.

I consider myself to be somewhat socialist. I'm certainly not capitalist. Not all socialists are completely wacko. That being said, I think we as a people have a long way to go before we find the perfect system. I'm also transgender and bi, so equality and dignity for all humans is near and dear to my heart for personal reasons, I just consider all humans as needing to be considered in pushing for this, not just minorities. So I clearly fall to the left of our political spectrum, but without falling to extremism.

What would replace the two-party system and would the entire country vote on the replacement? Unless you use the Electoral College method of allocating votes, population-heavy NY and CA could end up deciding that replacement.
