And here I thought the Media wants us to believe that he's giving family members high ranking Political jobs. Go Figure.

Welcome to the job Judge Neil Gorsuch.

Maryanne Trump Barry

Good hell.

That's nightmarish.

Who'd want a supreme court judge with two names of the past two presidents?

Thank God he didn't.

The nominee was never Trumps sister. The other nominee was a recommendation of hers.

OMG, I am really surprised that "someone" didn't run a press story stating that "white house source" confirmed that he was going to nominate his sister which was also confirmed by another source close to the Trump administration.

Then run the story as fact on CNN, MSDNC, etc.

Now that would have made a good troll.

I'm surprised it's over a hour and half and this site hasn't blown up yet over the actual pick

I actually meant that more as I am surprised there isn't 12 different new threads all pertaining to this with the usual complaining, crying, outrage or whatever. I myself am indifferent.
I think you may have read me wrong

From what I've seen and read of his sister, she's very strait-laced. She seems to keep her professional distance from him deliberately, and not for mere show (professional distance, not familial, I know they're close) I doubt she'd have accepted a nom.

I do remember during the election Democrats saying Trump would get voted in and nominate his sister for the Supreme court.

I always thought that was funny, because if they actually believed that then they wouldn't have opposed him so hard.

His sister is more liberal than any judge Clinton would have picked.
