Prove it.
It's your claim, after all.

What?
I cannot parse that sentence.

You said the 800 or so refugees were "(vetted)" so I ask...

When you say they were "(vetted)", are you saying they were vetted under the same vetting system that the Trump administration aims to fix?

The same vetting system that the Trump administration has issued an executive order stopping immigration until it can be improved..you know so that the would-be immigrants could actually be properly vetted?

You mentioned they were "(vetted)" I was wondering by what system were they vetted? I just wanted you to clarify that.

Um.
Since Trump does not seem to have any system, is your question rhetorical?

Kind of.

I'll rephrase it so as not to be rhetorical. You claim they were vetted, what system or entity vetted them?

And keep in mind the director of the FBI said this.
But what he said is that if someone has a clean record, they still can't be trusted. So, how does "extreme vetting" get around that?

Water-boarding. Didn't Trump mention he wanted to reintroduce water-boarding?

Water-boarding. Didn't Trump mention he wanted to reintroduce water-boarding?

You think that applicants for refugee status should be waterboarded?

Yeah Trump likes it. Thinks it works. But he walked back on that.

You haven't bothered to look into it?

If we take refugees as part of our immigration quota, that's not a problem. I didn't see anything but support for, say Haiti, or Indonesia when disaster struck.

But if refugees or immigrants come from a Country where we are seen as the aggressor.. the root cause of their suffering, then any thoughts of revenge might be directed at us.

Therefore, extra precautions.

No I was kidding. Although it would probably work Hahaha I'm against that idea.

There is no overall immigration quota as you seem to think it exists. There are numbers set for any one country, for example.

Therefore, extra precautions.
Beyond those in place. Like what? Why do you think that current vetting is insufficient?

No. I'm just butting in being nosey asking somewhat rhetorical (and probably pointless) questions.

The 800 who have been vetted. Yes, we should allow them into the country. As we told them we would do. Instead of, "Never mind."

i wonder if this is the 800 your talking about, 872 to be exact.

(Reuters) - The U.S. government has granted waivers to let 872 refugees into the country this week, despite President Donald Trump's executive order on Friday temporarily banning entry of refugees from any country, according to an internal Department of Homeland Security document seen by Reuters.

seems to me trump is doing all the right things.

And people say that protests don't do anything.

The waivers, granted by the State Department and the
Department of Homeland Security (DHS), came amid international
protests against Trump's rushed executive order. Critics said
the order in some cases was not clearly communicated to the
agencies responsible for implementing it.

don't be trying to spin it, it doesn't say it was because. it said amid, two different things, although i will say that the timing is a little coincidental.

Perhaps a clarification before the chest pounding would have helped the situation.
"As part of this order, we will honor the commitment made to refugees who have been previously vetted." Donald didn't think that was important.

So, the vetting was good enough for that 872? And now it isn't?

i pounded no chest, i just pointed out that yes 872 refugees were allowed to enter and that trump and his people seem to be doing all the right things in this.

trump is not playing by the establishments rules, he is playing his own game and is doing it within Constitutional bounds and it scares the sh@@ out of them, and the world.

Good. Trump is doing quite enough of that.

Don't count your chickens. I will grant you that the world is concerned. As are a good number of Americans.
