I get called a lot of things when I vent my POV on the boards.

Funny, that that name calling is okay when it goes against me. Funny, that the slightest transgression on my part leads to serious sniping. Funny, that I might have let that get to me just a little bit.

Trump's position is completely different than mine (in comparison). He can hurt people now ... like forever ... without even knowing he did it. I wouldn't want to get under his feet, and I wouldn't block his path, while he's #MAGA.

Hope & Change was nothing more than a silly campaign slogan. Not even gonna waste my time mocking Stronger Together.

Because they don't like the way you think.

People will simply change the definition of fascist to that of capitalism.

I'm sure they've already done it.

If you don't agree with the Progressive ideology, you are a Fascist!

Kind of reminds me of certain religions who say anyone who doesn't abide by their doctrine that they are doomed in the afterlife?

Indeed. Just read the MSM news with a critical eye and you'll see it, just so.

Don't worry.

The ones that scream fascist the loudest are in all actuality the real fascists.

The ones that cry racism the loudest are in all actuality the real racists.

Isn't it awesome being able to ignore societal red flags by invoking grade-school fart-blaming logic?

Rather than try and respond to all the feedback individually I would like to acknowledge that we all use the political terminology such as Left and Right, Socialist and Capitalist interchangeably and incorrectly. The point I am attempting to make is that the narrative of what is good and bad is being controlled by a Left leaning press which is inciting those disenfranchised by the election to act as though they have been wronged and should seek redress.

I support the Constitution and our Republican form of government and I am portrayed as the minority when in actuality it is the Democrat Party that has been marginalized in nearly every election.

I do not intend to apologize for believing what I do and neither should anyone else .... you don't have to like Trump or his policies but you do need to give him a chance to rise or fall. Obama was granted the same opportunity and the end result was Trump.

The issue is a group of people trying to take our country by using our laws against us and the Liberals think it's great. Wait till they get outnumbered and try to reason with the people taking over.

You mean similarly to the way that you responded with nothing but ad hominem rather than taking the statement apart, applying "grown-up" logic and supplying a counter argument?

To that I say... See it, believe it, then achieve it. Don't let the masses direction steer what you apply. If you surround yourself with what you want, then the unwanted fades off in time.

To be able to apply what the masses can't is a gift of life... its not anything that sucks. I do not see color in humans, therefore I fail to see reason in debating racism... it does not exist in my mind. What I find is that there is 2 worlds...my free will and the physical world... each of us experience the same. We can choose to subconsciously side with the masses or stay in the plateaus of free will.

I have long welcomed the free will sectors of life, as I assume you have too. With that in mind, the arena of free will will be mingled with both positive and negative energies... and I love the bad as much as the good, for I choose to be Not Programmable.

Any time I see someone use the word fascist, I cringe because the vast majority of people don't have a clue what fascism is anymore, they toss it around to describe anyone they don't like.

From the Merriam-Webster Dictionary

Definition of fascism often capitalized : a political philosophy, movement, or regime (as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition

Like him or hate him, Trump is not a fascist no matter how badly you want to paint him that way. He's a capitalist.

What?

- Nation/race above the individual - Trump has repeatedly espoused nationalism and Christian favoritism -Check

- Centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader - Executive orders accompanied by Trumps expressed disdain for following the rules - Check

- Severe economic and social regimentation - Really? - Check

- Forcible suppression of opposition - Media gag orders, black-outs, and not allowing US residents to return to their homes - Check

Until you gave the definition, I never even entertained the idea of calling Trump a fascist. You sort of convinced me, actually.

I'm using the English Oxford Dictoionary definition of the word, not the Americanised bastardised version. I wouldn't call Trump an outright Facist but there's no doubt a significant number of his policies are based on facist ideology.

Only a xenophobe and racist fears this inevitability. Oh, it is going to come. My only question is who will be the ones leading the charge. Will it be those who seek to make life comfortable for us, or those who seek to take advantage of us at every turn?

Very interesting read, I now am unsure how to react to the charge of Fascist....I am both guilty and innocent.

The US is the greatest weapon against communism, It wields the biggest club, cannot be invaded, is too vast to turn into a police state, and americans are too productive

And yet Trump is having a bromance with one of the biggest communist POS on the planet... responsible for killing Americans...... Putin.

You ok with that?

I think and act like an American….why are you calling me a Fascist?

Because they don't know what the word means.

I mean look at who we are talking about.

'Making the rich pay their fair share'.

'Corporate products are human rights'.

'Global domination per the CLimate changed Agenda'.

'Gun control'.

'Regulation' as a whole.

ALL of it is FASCISM.

On other words authoritarianism.

It isn't fascist to put the needs of a countrys people over the rest of the worlds WANTS.

Goes along with that other word called SOVEREIGNTY.

I think in serious discussion of economics and political movements the term has a place. But as Orwell states, it has little meaning in public discourse and conversation.
