What is the disconnect in America today? The American narrative is one of revolution, Civil War, World War, expansion, capitalism and unapologetic patriotism. Americans have always fought for their own values and beliefs and have carried their beliefs to every corner of this continent and the world. We as a people have invested our blood and treasure to make the world a safer place while dying on foreign shores and lands to either liberate or defeat the enemies of our Democracy.

I watch the MSM portrayal of today’s America and I don’t recognize America as the subject. The allusions and illusions created by what we call news is a totally false narrative and bears no resemblance to what our nation represents to its citizens or the world. I seem to have gone down the proverbial rabbit hole as I am continually fed this false and diametrically opposite narrative being presented about “who we are as a people.”

We are Americans and we act and think like Americans, which apparently is a very unpopular concept to the fourth estate that controls the MSM propaganda narrative. The MSM narrative is so subtle and corrosive in it’s support of Socialism, and Globalism that it presents BLM thugs, illegal immigration and big Government as good while portraying police, white males, Christians and the Constitution as criminal and un-American.

Our national situation is dire and needs a course correction before our nation is co-opted by the dark forces seeking our end. The anti-American left has grown strong and has many groups aligned against us as a people and prays on the uninformed with arguments that somehow they are discriminated against and deserve inclusion and representation, a result of the “a trophy for everyone” mentality.

Are you someone who believes Trump can “Make America Great Again” or would you prefer the “Hope and Change” narrative?

The world is changing
The robots are coming
We need to rethink everything
Trump is reacting to this by recoiling
We should be expanding instead

Imagine one world, one currency, no borders, no such thing as illegal immigrants.
Imagine working together instead, as one, on giant spaceships.

But, no, I guess we'll keep on fighting about imaginary gods and trillion dollar debts...

I certainly do not like Trump. However I completely despair of political terminology as it is being misapplied on a staggering basis.

Liberal is not an economic description. Both Democrats and republicans are actually capitalist parties. If they sought to smash the system they would be either revolutionary socialists (who followed Mao or the Russian thinkers like Marx and Trotsky) or they would be Fascists (like the Brown shirts/Nazis. Hilary was as pro capitalist as Trump.

Calling Trump a fascist is stupid. I cannot abide the man but obnoxious as he is, he is NOT A FASCIST.

The goal is to destroy the concept of an american and american culture. Destroy culture by making everything relative.

The US is the greatest weapon against communism, It wields the biggest club, cannot be invaded, is too vast to turn into a police state, and americans are too productive

Whilst there are different political and religious ideologies, as you have pointed out, it is never going to happen.

And whilst there is a currency of any form, then we will always be at the mercy of those that print it.

ive been thinking the same thing...
wouldnt it be cool if people were just classified as people.

ive been thinking about it a lot actually. not so much thinking about a 1 world government but just 1 world. no nations. no borders. no religion.
just people living on earth.

i know it is a pipe dream and that utopia will never happen but i still think about it...

you know if youre on this side of the line then you matter more than people on that side.
if you believe in this religion or god then you matter more than the person who believes in that one.

it really sucks

I am going to star you for the spaceship part only, the rest are loopy.

People are always going to need crap, there are too many services used that can't function with a robot.
Mfg labor and kiosk type jobs are about the only industries that will be effected imo.

We need a dereg of the lawyer lockdown, the regs used to intentionally stop success.
-Like sitting on patents and never delivering.

A zero tax rate on small businesses until the reach sales of a million would do wonders.
Taking the trillions sent to other countries and reinvesting them into small business grants would be a start.

We could do all kinds of things to turn it around.

You pay your bills, but never seem to get ahead?
BOOM, here's 250k, it's 100% forgivable, now start a biz and be your own boss.
Realistic options have never been tried

Um No, no it is not.

Definition of fascism

1 often capitalized : a political philosophy, movement, or regime (as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition

2 : a tendency toward or actual exercise of strong autocratic or dictatorial control

Hard work, work ethics, sweat equity, personal responsibility, individualism, pride in ones work, pride in ones home, pride in ones town, pride in ones country, taking risks and failing and then getting back up and trying again. . . . are an anathema in current society.

If

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
Or being hated, don’t give way to hating,
And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise:

If you can dream—and not make dreams your master;
If you can think—and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools:

If you can make a heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: “Hold on!”

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings—nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!
-Rudyard Kiplings

Why does everything have to be so binary/all or nothing in the USA?

Why does one have to be a full fleged Trumptard or a full fledged libitard?

The ones that cry racism the loudest are in all actuality the real racists.

Any time I see someone use the word fascist, I cringe because the vast majority of people don't have a clue what fascism is anymore, they toss it around to describe anyone they don't like.

From the Merriam-Webster Dictionary

Definition of fascism often capitalized : a political philosophy, movement, or regime (as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition

Like him or hate him, Trump is not a fascist no matter how badly you want to paint him that way. He's a capitalist.
