Their plan to tear apart our country from within is working great. I would like to find what group is instigating this, divide and conquer. I don't think it is the Russians, I think it is a European group myself.

I do not feel our present administration has ties to this group. I also do not think most of the people who are disruptive have a clue they have been manipulated to start chaos. They are just uninformed Pawns in the plan for world control.

Yeah. That thread should have taught you all about people not reading OP's before posting.

For those living in caves and don't care about what is really important in the world. . . .

Star Trek: Discovery is an upcoming American television series created by Bryan Fuller and Alex Kurtzman for CBS All Access. It is the first series developed specifically for that service, and the first Star Trek series since Star Trek: Enterprise concluded in 2005. Set roughly a decade before the events of the original Star Trek series, separate from the timeline of the concurrent feature films, Discovery explores a previously mentioned event from the history of Star Trek while following the crew of the USS Discovery. Gretchen J. Berg and Aaron Harberts serve as showrunners on the series, with producing support from Akiva Goldsman.

Have you considered marching on Washington or maybe breaking some windows?
I hear that it's the new way to protest.

I considered it.

But while people are doing it over the anger of waiting for 5 more months for another Star Trek series, I choose restrain and am pleading for calm and rational discussion.

The Million Trekie March. Bad idea.

The amount of nerds in one place could potentially coalesce into a sexless black hole that sucked in every Hotpocket on the planet.

Would this be the wrong to mention that R2-D2 won't be in this new Trek? I know I was really, really, really upset when I heard it.

Hmmm, sexless black hole that sucks? That's sort of ... hawt!

Now I'm ashamed and will go crawl back into my disgusting place.

Talk like this does not help.

I have asked the mods that you be banned for a serious breach of T&C's.

If I had an airlock, you'd be in it!

After 8 years of lies and outrage by the people who voted for trump i find it funny that these daily threads pop up.

This is the first Star trek thread I have seen in some time. Where are the others that are coming up daily?

Im sorry son, i saw db and outrage, words that go together so well.

A truly awesome thread and it raises a few issues.

I want to state first off, the outrage is real. It is authentic. It is visceral. It permeates every aspect of our daily lives. We have to face it, accept it, and move on.

The protests aren't going to accomplish anything.

I hear you, these trekkies are out of control. I believe that they can't accept the fact that Star Wars is better but the votes are in and nothing can change the fact that Star Wars is better.

Throwing people out the airlock is decidedly unTrek-like. Don't they just refuse to beam them anyplace in particular and lose them in a pattern buffer or something?

But what would I know? I'm just off hanging in the TARDIS.

Judging from the cast I think this starship will be flying in the estrogen ocean.
Hopefully the storylines will be well written.

Interesting.

I like the irony that for most male Star Trek fans vagina is where no man has gone before.

There always has to be some hater that comes into these serious threads and tries to mess things up.

I can't even type the name, but the "brand" you mentioned is nothing.

Do you hear me?

NOTHING!

Let's be the grown-ups in the room and just accept the fact that we'll have to wait 5 more months.

Is this because of the political climate in the US? Hollywood? ⬅️Why does my spellchecker not like that word? This is even effecting my spellchecker 😳

This has truly gone global now 😰
