The left wing nut jobs in CA are now circulating a petition to secede from the United States.

CALEXIT

They allege CA "has different values" than the rest of the country who elected Trump (boy, ain't that the truth!)

Aside from my personal feelings of "don't let the screen door hit ya", this plan was clearly not thought out very well, not very well at all. And, I say, go right on a. with your bad selves!

One simple question for ya, California....

Where do you think you're going to get your WATER from, you lawless socialist zealots??????????

You won't last two whole days! BRILLIANT!

Please, please do it. I beg of them, do it.

I love the arguments like "they grow all your fruits and veggies". Well, we buy some from Mexico too, and they aren't a US state, so that argument sure is a sad one.

Perhaps they can just join with Mexico as they seem to have a few of their citizens among them already.

ETA: I hear Mexican water is a bit sweeter. Perhaps an acquired taste.

Sadly those liberals will open their boarders to countless refugees and the problem only gets worse

This thread is about the question stated in the OP. Yes there are others out there, but I'd like to discuss this issue in particular. Water.

The people signing that petition should be escorted out of the country. That's it.

They might be alright if they harnessed the power of liberal tears. I hear it's a renewable resource.

Gotta' refill those tears somehow.

Besides, "tears" are salt water...which they have plenty of, but you can't drink it!

Texas threatens to secede every year, but we don't make a thread about it.

Ah so your thread is intended to educate Californians, not just call them lawless socialist zealots.

Not sure if you know, but the US has repeatedly supported separatists all over the globe. The American foreign policy is that, the ordinary people have the choice to decide what they want, as long as it's not in Russia's favor, and as long as it suits their own interests.

The US has supported separation of a region of my country, so, applying the same standards the american government officials use, I see no problem and fully support the right of Californian people to decide if they want to continue to be a part of the United States of America. It's their right as a state, to decide if they want to be a part of this federation

So, what you are saying is that you build the wall along the southern border, then take a 90degree turn north-bound along the Arizona and Nevada western boundaries then straight west to the ocean too?

You can make The People's Republic of California and the Hollyweirds pay for the variation to the configuration of the wall.

I think California may have just solved The USs current immigration conundrum.

God bless this push for independence.

Well, the legality of their seceding is debatable, but let's just go with the theme that they could overcome this obstacle (which would involve changing their state constitution among many other things).

The question stands, where are they going to get their water?

I remember when A bunch of folks in Texas petitioned to secede.

But that was cause Obama.

Obviously, the finer points of reality are lost on you!

Water is the single most important ingredient in survival, but let's not let this "minor" little detail muddy the...(oh yeah, "water"), right???

Thanks for playing!

Run along now.
