I don't totally agree with him, and I'm a supporter. I just haven't seen anything he has done so far that I have any major disagreements with. But I will jump on it when I do.

There's far too much doom and gloom pessimism.

I think there is a great likelihood that under his leadership, which is still evolving, in a few years this country will be entering a new era of security, peace and prosperity (for all Americans) not seen for a long time. It's going to be an unpleasant and difficult transition for a lot of people, especially the enemies of the USA and economic leaches of the world that for too long have sought their own benefit through our demise.

You can't bring about that kind of change without pissing off a whole lot of people.
I hope you are right because that is what I want to see for america as well.. peace and prosperity! The doom and gloom that many are projecting seems to be a projection of what they want to happen so they can say we told you so. Many are intent on seeing Trump and his administration fail... at the expense of their own country. I am not American, but my good wishes are with all Americans and I do believe many are losing hope and jumping on that negative projection train much too early. Oh.. and America could have been brought into war by Hillary as well. The future is deceptive...and no one can say for certain how things would have or will turn out. I know this may irk many atheists and I'm sorry if it does.. but I will exercise my right to say from the heart " God bless America ".. because as your neighbor I really do want to see good things happening for the vast majority of you. Others need to be taken down a notch or two 🤔😉

No. It just appears that way because we don't argue about content anymore, but about ideology.

Too many isms to count. Everybody wants their own label.

LOL LOL LOL LOL

Good contributions, Peeple. You've got style ... that makes me smile (and rhyme while I'm doing it)!!

Except its not half of Americans.

There are approx 241 million Americans eligible to vote, and 40 percent (92 million approx) of them didn't

And of the 60 percent (138,884,643 voters) who did, approximately half of them voted for Clinton or others.

That means that - out of the total voting population Trump actually received about 63 million votes - approximately 26% of the voting population.

You are actually a minority.

Now if you want to be hated, that's your problem, but I - personally - will simply stick to my mantra that you can't blame the many for the actions of the few (which is not, it seems, how your president sees it)

You don't see the irony do you?
You are against fascism you say, but you dehumanise millions of people just because they have a different opinion. "...shoot rabbits..."
How is that not fascist also?

Ye, I'm sure those who fought to stop fascism in 30's spain and 40's Europe and the rest of the world were worried about how it all would be seen to be "Ironic".

Did Trump build death camps? Force Mexicans to wear opuntia patches? Order to euthanise gays and handicapped people? Invade Canada killing as many as possible on the way?

Then stfu because it's not a joke.

Give him enough time and i'm sure he will do all these things....and more. Hence the reason him and his like must be stopped.

It's not a Joke??...oh the irony. Trust me, the world is looking at America right now and laughing it's ass off at the stupidity of the blinkered who voted for this clownshoe. ISIS and al qaeda are laughing up there cuff at the state of US right now.

Don't know. How?

As I recall, it ended up with pepper spray and zip tie handcuffs..... applied by the authorities.
The authorities that work for the people that were being protested.
Remember the Wikileaks revelations that Citibank picked Obama's cabinet?

Where does this thing about Trump wanting to kill gays come from?
He is the very first POTUS to favor gay marriage at the time that he took office.
All the rest were bandwagon jumpers.

As I recall there were plenty of people who used these kinds of calculations to point out that when Obama had his so-called mandate he didn't actually have anything of the sort.

So this is a non-issue unless you were agreeing with that argument when it was being made before to show that Obama only had a slim majority of people who cared to vote to garner a big win in the EC.

This article is a bit long but it talks about the behavioral/psych profiles of various Presidents. It was written back in June before the election. Again, a bit long but if you take the time to read it --- a lot to ask I know --- check out the section where the author is talking about the similarities between Andrew Jackson and Trump. Especially as regards his popularity among the people and why. It's somewhat enlightening. It's not anti-Trump but does raise some rational and reasonable concerns.

I voted for trump because everything he said or did caused the progressives to go, foaming at the mouth bat crap insane.

I despise Hillary and the whole Clinton crime syndicate, there was zero chance that they would get my vote. I didn`t think trump really had a chance of winning so I didn`t pay much attention to some of his hairbrained ideas that caused the progressives to have mental meltdowns.

Now that trump is president and the progressives have gone full retard we can all see exactly how unstable and unfit they are to lead anything.

I didn`t vote "for" trump, I voted "for" poking the crazies with a stick and watching them thrash around screaming, I voted "against" the Clinton crime syndicate.
I voted "against" facists who said, unify and tolerate us or else!

Racist shpuld be voted as the number one out of context used word in america at the moment. People spout it off at everything and dont even realize their not using the correct terms. Its like listening to a precocious kid who keeps using some word to sound cool that they dont even know the definition or meaning of. But they think they do. And boy are thet going to use it a lot.

Trump is not Hitler. That's all I am saying and I can't believe you make me defend him, because I actually am a total socialist and pro globalism, against racism and so on,

but he is one week in office and you and your hysterical call to arms are what is actually preventing a real discussion about what made Trump get elected.
Corruption, lobbyism, the division of society in rich/poor, white/coloured... but instead here we are talking about your baseless "kill trumpets he is hitler" crap

I don't disagree with you...I took the easy way and just called it 1/2 because it was simple. The underlying meaning of this thread isn't to debate opinions, it isn't to choose right and wrong nor to keep people from voicing their concerns.

What it is, is a wake-up-call. I hated Obama and therefore hated the people who supported what he did, what he wanted for my country, etc. Today we have a new President. But the protests, the crying and complaining and the hate are much more extreme. I blame the left...but it doesn't matter.

What we all need to realize is that while we may point at Trump (current President) can say evil, hate, racist, bad, stupid, and every other word is that it isn't Trump. Trump is nothing but a cluster of opinions that the people (our 1/2 or whatever) wanted for America.

It is easy to point at one person. It is easy to demonize a single entity. But is it so easy to point at 100+ million and say the same? Doesn't it change the idea in general that nearly 1/2 of the country (using the words of the left) are bigots, racists, haters, etc.? And visa-versa?

It is easy to scream "Hitler" and one person. But when that person represents millions...represents your neighbor...doesn't that change the game?
