Why Is My Avi Repeating??

HI all. I switched my avi (my mini background, actually) to the one you see here...I think I made it sometime in 2015.

It never used to repeat like it is now.

Is there a fix to this? I speak Photoshop and pixels, btw.

If you mean that it is repeated below it's self? That was a change that happened last year some time. it is now the new norm.

The profile space on your posts is only as long as it needs to be according to the length of your post. Within that space you have two images...a background layer and avatar space that sits above. Create a transparent avatar in varying lengths to lengthen your visible profile space thereby showing more of your background image..start with maybe 220 pixels tall and adjust to fit your current background.

If you don't want the background repeating on really long posts simply create a 198 x 1600 pixel transparent canvas in Photoshop and place your current background image at the top... then "save for web" select png 24 with transparency ticked.
