LOL

Again, wild rumors form sources like University Deans !!

Kevin Johnson, dean of the University of California-Davis School of Law, told us the "immigrants and nonimmigrants" wording covers most foreign travelers from those countries.

"An immigrant is a lawful permanent resident (a green card holder)," Johnson said. "A nonimmigrant is someone with a visa."

If he steps outside our Constitution, we have legitimate ways to handle it.

Yes. It's called the Judicial Branch. We are currently seeing federal judges from a number of states declaring that there is a freeze on this EO so it can be determined whether or not it is unconstitutional. The Executive Branch has decided to ignore the decision of the Judicial Branch and Trump's supporters are cheering those actions on.

So what was that about him being a strict Constitutionalist?

There was a time when an attempt to verify information was "Do you have a link?" Now, it has changed to "Do you have a link to a website I agree with?" That is not debate; it is propaganda... and this propaganda has been substituted for reality. I see a strong correlation between an Islamic person who follows a religious leader (Imam?) and an American who follows every instruction given by Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, Rush Limbaugh, John McCain, or even Donald Trump.

There are still some of us who question, but we are getting fewer and farther between... and our access to actual facts is being buried amid the sea of propaganda.

bump.

Thank you.

I can't watch your video now...

But Japan's population is 7% Islam...in the USA it is 1%..

Let me know if you can't discover that through your own research.

Japan's Muslim population is around 70,000 which includes less than 10,000 of them as Japanese and the rest being foreigners (Majority of them are nationals from Southeast Asian countries)-wiki

Japan population 127.3 million (2013)-google

Hmmm, 70,000 is not 7% of 127 Million.

No Judge has frozen the EO. (yet)

The EO is in full force right this minute.

Read your link, it only applies to those who have already traveled...the article says it was to allow 109 people who were already here on a valid visa into the country.

Your article clearly says the EO is still in place.

While not striking down the executive order issued Friday, judges in Massachusetts, Virginia, Washington state and New York stayed implementation of the order Saturday night and early Sunday, preventing Customs and Border Patrol agents at U.S. airports from denying admission to people holding valid visas or permanent residency status.

First introductory phrase.

No judge has the authority to prevent the President from handling immigration. He is the duly elected leader of the Executive Branch. All they can do is address individual cases, as they did here concerning those affected by the timing of their trip. Neither can Congress strip the President of his authority in this matter, Nancy Pelosi's meltdown notwithstanding. All they can do is issue guidelines.

The PEOPLE hold true power in this country, and the PEOPLE made their decision.

LORD...

OK...lets go with your 70k Muslims in Japan bit..
What is 70k of 120M?
5.5%

Or we can go with a high estimate of 120k..

120k of 120M is 10%

Or we can split the difference..

Islam is a minority religion in Japan. In the absence of official statistics on Muslims in Japan, demographic estimates range from between 70,000 to 120,000 Muslim residents with about 10 percent of that number being Japanese. The majority of estimates of the Muslim population in Japan are around 100,000. According to some sources, there were 30,000 Muslims in Japan in 1982.

www.dailysabah.com...

And call it 100K..

Which is 7% of the population...

ANY WHICH WAY...The USA has 1% Muslim population..

So your bit about Japan not being welcoming to Muslims is FAKE...

And if MATH is not enough for you to grip reality...

Muslims in Japan
Contrary to popular meme, Japan has not been able to "keep Islam at bay" by enforcing strict laws on Muslims.

This is false..

It is called an "Administration" because the executive branch "Administers" LAWS...written by the legislative branch...interpreted by the Judicial branch.

A President can determine through Executive Order HOW a law is enforced...He can not operate outside the actual laws. Nor modify or create new laws.

There are legal questions, both non-constitutional (Whether the order violates the immigration act) as well as constitutional, as the constitution is a limit on how our government applies the law...not a grant of rights ...put another way the recipient/victim of an unconstitutional law does not have to be a citizen for a law to be found "unconstitutional" in it's administration.

Presidents may not modify laws...only modify enforcement and application..."Administer"..Administration..."execution of laws". Executive Branch.

The Constitution does not provide rights for foreigners if it did the first sentence would not have included "We the people of the united states". With regards to people from terrorist countries it certainly would not have mentioned domestic tranquility, or common defense or promoting the general welfare if these barbarians were meant to be covered.

Yes, his job is to enforce law... and conduct wars... and consult with Congress... and ensure proper election proceedings... and negotiate treaties... and appoint justices... and a myriad of other duties.

Do you want to strip him of the duty to manage immigration?

I think you need to look at your math again, you misplaced a decimal..7% of 120m would be 8.4m

70k would be 0.058%

Did you use the calculator on your computer? see the "e-4" at the end?

Here you go: % Calc

So...

Edit: Even your high end of 120k is 0.1%. 12M is 10% of 120M.

The constitution "does not provide rights" for ANYONE. It limits the governments ability to infringe on rights that are NOT "Granted" by the constitution, but rather "endowed by our creator"..

It is a document aimed at limiting government, not a "granting of rights" aimed at the people.
