Must be just "existing" visas.

Easy-peesy fix. Have the State Department run a blanket revocation of all visas from those countries. Start the deportations of Everyone.

So anybody who was approved travel and entry Before the EO had a case to be heard and allowed in?

I think it's anybody in transit.

Visas can be cancelled.

Visas are not a permanent stay in the US but many uses them for that purpose, visas can be terminated any time and any moment and the person send back to the place of origin.

So no, visas are not debatable in court they are the issue by the federal government and take away as easy.

Contrary to a popular misconception, a U.S. visa does not authorize the alien's entry to the United States, nor does it authorize the alien's stay in the U.S. in a particular status. A U.S. visa only serves as a preliminary permission given to the alien to travel to the United States and to seek admission to the United States at a designated port of entry.[8] The final admission to the United States in a particular status and for a particular period of time is made at the port of entry by a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officer. For aliens entering the U.S. in a nonimmigrant visa status these details are recorded by the CBP officer on the alien's Form I-94 (Form I-94W for citizens of the Visa Waiver Program countries entering the U.S. for short visits), which serves as the official document authorizing the alien's stay in the United States in a particular non-immigrant visa status and for a particular period of time.[9] 50,000 additional visas are available each year under the visa lottery program. In the last few years more than 9 million people have participated in the visa lottery.

Get your facts people

A court can not do a darn thing about visas and how the federal government issue, them and deal with them.

I'm honestly worried about Trumps inevitable response to this.

He doesn't seem to be the type that can take not having his way.

True, it is not by any means fair. As I understand it, it also suspends those that were taking the legal approach in as well.

My thought is that Trump has only the power for all or nothing less he be in violation of the constitution.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that Trump probably wanted something done to remedy today's problem at the airport without a lot of to do. He probably knew this was going down and may even have been on board with it to assist those caught in the first day of the changes.

I was thinking the same thing. It would be very stupid of any terrorist to attack now.

It'd only prove Trump was right.

A monster? for enforcing the immigration laws?

Why have any laws at all, let anarchy and chaos reign supreme I guess.

OMG

How does anyone even respond to that kind of thinking?

This is good, but a little late, in my opinion.

Until another Tsarnev makes another pressure cooker bomb, or a married couple goes on a shooting rampage or a 'confused' guy goes shoots up another night club.

Good they say.

Good comment

That's too many assumptions imo. Time will tell, it's good to see this being challenged though.

Nor does the EO, in general.

Merely those from active warzones on account of the rampant terror in Europe that mysteriously began when the migrants began to appear.
