Has anyone even mentioned this?

There's already lawsuits on the way. This will be challenged

ACLU and Other Groups Challenge Trump Immigration Ban After Refugees Detained at Airports Following Executive Order

www.aclu.org...

The ACLU, along with several groups, filed a lawsuit this morning on behalf of two Iraqi men who were en route to the United States on immigrant visas when President Trump issued an executive order banning many Muslims from entering the country.

Time traveling...

Trump in 2017 has brought us to 1984

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

By a remarkable coincidence, none of the countries on that list are countries that Trump has business relationships with. The FBI needs to investigate whether Trump is violating the Emolument Clause. And, since the lawsuits already filed are likely to be fast tracked to the SCOTUS, it would be a conflict of interest for him to nominate a judge who might try those cases. No new Supreme Court judge until this whole thing is sorted out.

There's nothing remarkable about this.

Trump will not lift the ban on those countries until they let his Trump Hotel Brand in to do business there.

It's that simple.

Everyone can see the message.

This isn't about Muslims.

It's about business interests, and punishing those nations that make it difficult for The Donald to earn a buck in their land.

So, there's an even match now.

Let's sit back and see what happens.

WTF is wrong with Trump supporters? It's so not difficult to see how wrong Trump is. This is like a mass psychosis among Trump supporters to have any sort of defense for Trump, to pretend anything about this is normal OR good. Only a moron or Nazi can support Trump at this point. He should be impeached for gross incompetence. He's the worst president of all time. And his supporters... the amount of sh#t for brains it takes to support this guy... Wow... The awfulness of this president and his horrible followers... Epic levels of cowardice... epic levels of ignorance....

WTF is wrong with Trump supporters?

What was your opinion when Obama put a freeze on immigration from Iraq?

My policy is similar to what President Obama did in 2011 when he banned visas for refugees from Iraq for six months. The seven countries named in the Executive Order are the same countries previously identified by the Obama administration as sources of terror. To be clear, this is not a Muslim ban, as the media is falsely reporting. DJT

What was your opinion when Obama put a freeze on immigration from Iraq?

When did he do that? When did he forbid those with visas and green cards from entering the county? When did he stop the granting of refugee status?

President Trumps order covers those categories you mentioned. Obamas policy was halfhearted in comparison.

While Obama did halt the refugee program, it did not impact green card holders, or anyone with a visa. It also did not affect refugees who had already gone through the vetting process. Trump’s travel ban barred entry to the United States to those groups, causing a chaotic situation for travelers from the seven affected countries and leading to protests at airports across the country.

“Obama’s policy did not prevent all citizens of that country, including green-card holders, from traveling the United States. Trump’s policy is much more sweeping, though officials have appeared to pull back from barring permanent U.S. residents,” the Washington Post reports.

What was your argument?

My opinion is that the question is fallacious because it is based on a false premise.

Obama halted the refugee program from Iraq, for six months if the article is correct.
There are similarities to the current EO, just this EO is all encompassing.

It is not. There was no halt in the program. The vetting process was extended.

Good News Americans! The Trump Administration is LEGALLY protecting you.

""Washington-In the first court victory for the Trump administration, a federal judge in Boston declined Friday to renew a temporary restraining order that prohibited the detention or removal of foreign travelers legally authorized to come to the US.

The win in court comes at the same time that the administration issued a clarification to its travel order allowing for some citizens from the seven banned countries -- Iraq, Syria, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen -- to enter the US under specific circumstances.""

Another judge has blocked the entire EO.

A federal judge in Seattle on Friday granted a nationwide temporary restraining order blocking U.S. President Donald Trump's recent action barring nationals from seven countries from entering the United States.
