I don’t think that quote was from me or if so it was a mistext.

Or maybe I said it in a confusing way.. it has been awhile..


I was speaking about AAFTER winning WW2..

In the aftermath of WW2, when America was the only modern inferstructure still standing, should we have conquered the world to make sure there was only one nuclear power, thus eliminating the risk of a global nuclear exchange in the future.

If the US had been willing to nuke Moscow , Beijing and even Great Britain (I assume they turn against us) I think we win..

The one and only reason the bombs were used was because we would have had to kill at least 10 million Japanese before they would have considered surrender. There was a lot of thought put into weather or not to use it and they did and actually saved millions of lives on both sides.

That has precisely nothing to do with the op.. lol

I personally doubt the morality of it all was that 100% cut and dry, but I don’t doubt they figured dropping the bombs would save more American lives and maybe lives in total.
