Thank you for your informative post. I enjoyed it greatly and am very excited for the Age of Aquarius. I’ve been wondering about this age since my New Age days long ago. Now having made the transition to Christianity, I find myself still excited--even more so. I thought it might be interesting to hear from a Christian perspective on the subject of Aquarius—we are not so “unenlightened” as we might seem. The book of Revelation does speak about the end of the world as you say, but most Christians acknowledge it as a new beginning—not just a terrible ending. Having said that, we do often worry, but not for ourselves—it is for those who are not ready to see the Light. The Age of Aquarius for us means – not an end to Christ -- but a greater release of his Spirit—a spirit who is feminine (the spirit gives “birth” to humanity) and is represented in the bible as “water.” Most Christians have a fledging relationship with the spirit—this will change in the coming years. So it is a very exciting time for us too! In the past ten years I’ve heard many prophetic Christians tell me about dreams of huge tidal waves overcoming the earth, this includes my seven-year-old daughter and me.

the reiki master said it starts 2012, i was about to contradict her but the conversation was fast and furiuous and i thought better of it. planet x was thrown out>>>

i always beleived it doesn't happen untill 2060, not that i understand the planets aligining,photon bands "jargon", mores the pity!

seems everyone is now(2009) talking of 2012 and they don't bat an eye lid, think its time to send out that song again, and get people thinking

What you need to do is download Stellarium.

Ages are counted by how long the sun rises in a constellation on the spring equinox. For the last 2000 years or so, the background to the sun on march 20/21 is for now Pisces.

All signs do not have the same amount of space. For example, each year the sun only rises in Scorpio for 8 days. But if you look at a tropical zodiac (the most common one used and as well it is out of date) it will show scorpio covering a time more then 8 days due to the fact the tropical zodiac breaks up the signs into equal segments. Why brake them in equal segments if the sun does not really rise in a certain sign in equal segments?

So first, we need to look at a sidereal zodiac or solar zodiac. They show us the true place of the sun today and what sign the sun truly rises in. The monthly signs of the zodiac move one way...the signs to show the ages moves the other way.

If you look at stellarium, you can fast forward and watch the sun over time seem to move through Pisces and into Aquarius if you are watching it in the time frame of march 20 for every year. The age of Aquarius is at least a couple hundred years off...and even then, we are in a cusp between the two signs for another couple hundred years. So actually, we are looking at another 400 years or so till we can say we are completely in the age of Aquarius and not in the age of Pisces at all.

For those of you that think you are an Aquarius....you need to ask yourself if you truly are. The sidereal zodiac might show you that the sun realy didnt rise in sign you think it did, or the sign that the tropical zodiac tells you that you did.

Its best to use astronomy to see what sign you were born in instead of astrology. Astrology follows what signs were behind the sun thousands of years ago. This changes over time, the sun ( or signs) move 1 degree ever 72 years. There are many Taurus people that are really Aquarians. Some are true sings...they are the same sign in both zodiacs. My mother is a true Tarus, in the tropical and sidereal. I am Virgo in Tropical and Leo in Sidereal. The sun really rose in Leo on my birth.
