I love science. I value the importance of being a skeptic. Yet, deep in my heart, I desperately want to have some shred of hope for humanity. You may think it's impossible to be both ways at the same time. But I'm big that way. Thought consistency is overrated. I enjoy occasionally living on the dark side. It's like buying a lottery ticket.

With that in mind I think Rossi is total scam artist. Mills may or may not be a shyster but I do admire him for somehow convincing investors to give over $120 million dollars (I think of it as junk science socialism).

But I've always been positive and hopeful about Brillouin Energy and Robert Godes. Godes is more an engineer than theoretical scientist. He could be a scammer like Rossi. But the difference is Godes seems to be taking a more respectful scientific approach. He's partnered with SRI International to do real science with his LENR technology. Brillouin Energy's business model is based licensing fees from manufacturing partners. They have taken some investor money but they are not pimping their technology the same way Mills does.

I've read everything on the Brillouin Energy website at least 10 times. I think Godes makes a compelling argument if the science being done is actually good science. As far as I can tell based on everything I've read it's good science. Godes has been working on LENR for 25 years. It's been miserably slow to come to market. Every year it seems, just like Mills, next year is going to be the year.

As I said I love science. And I do value being a skeptic. So part of me thinks until I can purchase an LENR generator on the end-cap of Home Depot it's simply not real. With that in mind, there is a new article about Brillouin Energy I would like to share. Please understand I am not being a mindless cheerleader. The only reason I am posting this is because as I've stated I'm looking to have a some tiny shred of hope for humanity. Please do not roast my post. I completely understand people's skepticism. I would love to hear any criticism of Brillouin's science. But please no ad hominem attacks against me. I get it.

"Berkeley Clean Technology Company Announces Breakthrough for LENR Power Devices"

"Controllable-on-Demand, Reproducible, Transportable, Scalable LENR Validated in Third-Party Tests of Brillouin Energy’s most advanced Isoperibolic Hydrogen Hot Tube™ LENR Reactor"

Researchers at SRI International are reporting that they have successfully replicated “over unity” amounts of thermal energy (heat) for Brillouin Energy Corporation’s most advanced Isoperibolic (“IPB”) Hydrogen Hot Tube™ (HHT™) reactor test systems based on controlled low energy nuclear reactions (“LENR”). Researchers at SRI conducted a series of third-party tests of Brillouin Energy’s IPB HHT™ LENR reactor test systems from March to December 2016. Dr. Francis Tanzella, principal investigator and Manager of the Low Energy Nuclear Reactions Program, was assigned to SRI’s testing of Brillouin Energy’s LENR systems and conducted all of the third-party validation work.
In its Interim Progress Report, SRI summarizes its extensive testing of five identical Brillouin Energy metallic reactor cores, which produced the same over-unity controlled heat outputs, turning the reaction heat on and off repeatedly. “Brillouin Energy appears to have achieved its most groundbreaking test results to-date,” the Report states.
POSITIVE COEFFICIENTS OF PERFORMANCE (COPS) IN THE RANGE OF 1.2X TO 1.45X
Data from the SRI International test runs show LENR heat outputs up to several watts were repeatedly produced from positive coefficients of performance (COPs) in the range of 1.2X to 1.45X. The Report continues that LENR heat being independently validated with positive COPs is significant: “The LENR coefficients of performance (COPs) may be considered low and small scale however, it would be a mistake to discount them, in light of the accuracy of their calorimetry, the consistent repeatability of their production, their controllability, and the reproducibility and refinement of their manufacturing techniques, specifications, and components, all leading to the same repeated results. Moreover, the transportability of the system is another remarkable achievement”.
“By using standard industrial manufacturing processes for our reactor test systems, we have identified an engineering pathway for manufacturing Brillouin Energy’s IPB HHT™ reactor prototypes,” said Robert Godes, Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of Brillouin Energy Corp.
In 2017, Brillouin Energy will continue to work with SRI International in the testing process to help it to engineer and develop its IPB HHT™ reactor test systems, with the goal of evolving them towards LENR prototype equipment systems, which potentially may generate commercial scale LENR Heat on demand for industrially useful applications.
“We are on the cusp of a new era of cheap, abundant and reliable power from LENR technologies, at a time when the United States and many other countries are re-defining their commitments to mitigate the impacts from climate change,” said Robert W. George, Chief Executive Officer, Brillouin Energy.
Brillouin Energy’s LENR technology includes a proprietary method of electrical stimulation of nickel-metal conductors using its Q-Pulse™ control system. The process stimulates the system to produce LENR reactions, which generate excess heat and helium. The excess heat produced is a product of hydrogen and a nickel-metal catalyst. The Q-Pulse™ control system stimulation is the key to maintaining the reaction. Other than the heat output, there are no (zero) toxic or CO2 emissions of any kind.

Interesting.

SRI is the outfit that the CIA hired back in the early 1970s to put together the protocols and proof for the mysterious process of Remote Viewing.

Eee, SRI.

Anything you see SRI involved with, look at it again about 40 times, because it's likely not what it looks like at face value.

I'll put it this way, and it's indirect, but SRI and inQtel have a lot of...commonality. A whole lot. Like, 100%. Public face (bogus), private side (the real company) and run by [fill in the blank], totally. If SRI is showing happy talk stuff on the public side over a topic, then the entire topic and all the companies involved in the 'collaboration' are something [a certain TLA] wants to push for reasons of their own and, likely, owns, operates or runs the other companies they mention as a front in order to get in somewhere.

"Bill English, then chief engineer at ARC, built the first prototype of a computer mouse from Engelbart's design in 1964.[35][36] SRI also developed inkjet printing (1961) and optical disc recording (1963).[37] Liquid-crystal display (LCD) technology was developed at RCA Laboratories in the 1960s, which later became Sarnoff Corporation in 1988, a wholly owned subsidiary of SRI. Sarnoff was fully integrated into SRI in 2011"

The computer mouse and LCD technology at "face value". SRI seems legit to me:

en.wikipedia.org...

SRI has about 4000 patents. I think pissing on SRI is pretty lame.

SRI could well be one of the channels through which alien technology is gradually leaked into our society, so why not clean(er) energy production. Thanks for posting it, a glimpse of hope right in time for the weekend

Anything that competes with big oil in these parts gets silenced.
Lots of good documentaries on it. Even the roths wouldn't be where they are without it.

You've never worked with them. They have a public side. But a huge chunk of where I have encountered them in my life has been hinky to questionable.

I'm sure inQtel has a lot of patents too. As did Blackbird Tech.
