The US can't ignore Lil Kim any more.

Fat boy is going down.
NK is no push over like Iraq. NK has a million man army. My guess is as soon as NK gets wind of any attack incoming they'll over run the south before we can fully mobilize. After that it will be door to door combat in the south. If Kim's back is against the wall he will have nothing to loose. I wouldn't be surprised if he uses chemical weapons. He saw what happened to Saddam. If the body bags start to pile up I'm willing to bet they'll re instate the draft. I know I know America is unbeatable blah blah blah.

There would be significant casualties in a war with Korea, make no doubt about that.

It is fairly certain that North Korea has chemical and biological weapons and the will to use them.

A non military solution would be best.

A million men are nothing compared to an air force like ours, seriously they don't have the tanks, air force or navy to compete. An infantry force of a million men can be defeated rapidly by an air force the size of ours, Japan and SK.

Hey Zaph, quick question. Does it still look like NK is looking to do another nuke test, even after this latest ballistic missile test? I haven't heard much about it since around the time you posted it.

Thanks in advance.

Yeah, they haven't completed it yet that I've heard. Constant Phoenix is still stuck in Indonesia though.

Interesting. Ok, thanks for the prompt reply, as always!

It appears that North Korea's latest Missile Test (yesterday) was a Failure.
www.foxnews.com...

Kim Jung should be playing around with these missiles like they're toys. Time to take them away.

Precision guided weapons aren't going to help much if NK blitz's the south. Our 30,000 troops on the DMZ won't stop them. Once NK is entrenched in the south precision guided weapons would be useless without extreme collateral damage.

That border is heavily armed and manned by BOTH sides. Plus, the entire million man force is not just sitting on the border waiting to pounce. If they even tried to mobilize that kind of force, I have no doubt there would be an equal deployment of armor and manpower mobilized in response.

Yes, South Korea is going to suffer lots of damage and Seoul will likely end up looking like Syria after a week. But their government seems more than willing and ready to make that sacrifice. In the end, it is really just us enabling the South to get the confrontation their war hawks want. It just so happens to work to our advantage.

Besides they are not alone. Thailand and the Philippines is willing to commit ground forces. I don't know for certain if Japan is willing to commit ground forces, but they would certainly participate in the Naval blockade and siege, as well as air dominance. I am about 70% sure Australia and Canada would commit some ground troops as well.

I think most of the European and NATO bloc will avoid it all together though. Its going to be primarily a Pacific operation with participants from the Pacific bloc allies.

Japan would probably commit ships and aircraft, but not ground forces. The only reason Japan and South Korea even talk to each other is the US. Japanese ground troops on Korean soil wouldn't go over well.

North Korea Doom Porn Date??

DPRK founder's birthday is April 15, 1912.

Could all these tests just be a lead up to a "Day of the Sun" celebration on the 105 year anniversary of the country's founder's birth?

About a week to find out...

Exactly right. President Trump does not bluff. But for Kim Jung, I'm hoping that the cruise missiles are aimed at his location, instead of a military base.

If Kim Jung is killed, I bet the soldiers would pick up pieces of his body and dance in the streets with them held over their heads. (Just like after Dorothy killed the Wicked Witch) Kim Jung's soldiers are scared to death of him.

Kim Jung must be green with envy right about now.

We launch 59 missiles flawlessly. They fly to their targets in Syria flawlessly. And explode at each target..perfectly.

He can't even get most of his test launches to execute properly. I bet the NK missile engineers and scientists are working around the clock, with guns to their heads.

Most of us knew within hours of the strike on Syria, that President Trump/James Mattis were sending a CLEAR and STRONG message to the main threat at the moment, Kim Jung of North Korea.

www.foxnews.com...

As the article says, if Kim goes into hiding, we'll know that his days are numbered.

""Kim Jong-un declares he’s on ‘the brink of a war’ with U.S., as Donald Trump is urged to assassinate North Korean despot. North Korea warned it is ready to deliver the "most ruthless blow", as a major U.S. naval exercise ramps up tensions in the region.

KIM Jong-un has placed his country on the “brink of war” alert, as a high-profile defector urged US President Donald Trump to assassinate the despot North Korean leader, before he fires his nuclear weapons at America and the UK.""

Source: www.thesun.co.uk...

OK..enough games. Time for President Trump to unleash whatever assassination method the CIA recommends. Now that Kim Jung knows President Trump isn't the same as Obama, he's going to launch an attack on U.S. interests or allies, somewhere in the world. Time to get him, before he gets us!

Waftist caught some news that the Carl Vinson strike group is heading back into the area.www.abovetopsecret.com...

Why would they change course?

Maybe the chinese leader gave them the green light?

www.sandiegouniontribune.com...

The Carl Vinson Strike Group departed Singapore and, instead of traveling to its previously intended destination of Australia, headed north on orders from Adm. Harry Harris, commander of the U.S. Pacific Command in Hawaii. His decision followed both a recent visit to Washington, D.C., and Thursday’s missile barrage on a Syrian airfield in a show of American force designed to prod Syria President Bashar Al-Assad to quit using chemical weapons on his citizens.

It should take about a week to transit from the western Pacific to the Korean peninsula, he added.

The Nimitz-class Vinson and its carrier air wing are joined by the destroyers Wayne E. Meyer and Michael Murphy, plus the cruiser Lake Champlain. The fleet will remain under the control of Rear Adm. James Kilby — who is aboard the Vinson — and his commander, Vice Adm. Nora Tyson, who will continue to direct the force from her Point Loma Maritime Operations Cente

Carriers visit the area a lot. There are other things going on than just Korea. The Philippines just seized an island in the area. If something was being planned in Korea, there would be a lot more movement than just a carrier group.

There have been tons of things going on in S.Korea and the DMZ since like...The 1950's... Ships and troop movements to and from S.Korea are nothing unusual.

What is unusual is the current [SNIPPED] in charge talks out his ass too much.

Having a [SNIPPED] running the U.S. is going to be a real problem, like your cable bill and your gas bill and the price of gasoline and your paycheck that doesn't keep up, [snipped] make decisions without regard to people like you or me.

It's all about money and profits, and the best way to distract the ignorant masses and generate a whole butt-load of debt to float our "Big Fake Economy" is an all out war.
