I was with the video up until he started blaming the end of America on gays and violent video games. Major red flags started going up for me.

He cites a whole bunch of BS statistics about people being raised by single parents (14 times more likely to commit rape? HMMMM). This is the website he sources: Source Which itself uses THIS as a source. Which is - of course - a CHRISTIAN ORGANIZATION.

Which makes this.... drumroll please.... propaganda.


Some good information in the video. But also some VERY incorrect information.

Just watched the video and he does make some very good points, but I don't think you can graph everything that he tries to very accurately. For instance, violent video games sales have increased, true, but so has the availability of these types of games. All games are rated M nowadays just like all movies are rated R because those are what sells. I'm 39 and I still play video games, some of them would be shocking to me if I was 10 years old and playing them. And as far as TV "programming" its rare to find any kind of show thats entertaining thats not pure filth. I'm trying to talk the wife into cutting out the TV bill completely.

The degradation of the nuclear family is attributed to being one of the reason Rome declined as well. Young men had no interest in getting married and starting a family when you could just get a prostitute or a slave. Happy, stable families are getting to be more and more rare these days it seems.

All you need is an internet connection and a google search bar nowadays to see all manner of the most disgusting sex stuff you can possibly think of. When I was a kid, you had to go to the gas station and pretend you were looking at comic books but really buy a magazine with naked chicks in it. Take it home and hide it in the shame drawer and hope mom does'nt find it when she's cleaning your room. And that was just to see a naked womans boobs, imagine nowadays. You have everything you can think of from tentacle monsters raping young asian girls to inspector gadget and scooby doo bondage porn.

I think anyone that has been alive for the past 40 years can see with their own eyes that America is going the way of all empires.

He just used the term Sodom and Gomorrah as a reference to the pinnacle of amoral behaviour. If you have read the story properly, you would know that it is way more than just homosexual behaviour that went on that night. It was an oblique reference you have taken out of context.

Those single parent family statistics are also true.

The man presents some hard to accept truths, but what presents is pretty solid info.

Remember statistics are just that, cold numbers. They do not take into account individual circumstance, they just show general trends. And all but one of the megatrends he presents are worrisome.

No, they're not all true and your link to politifact does not prove that they are. That link does not provide the same statistics as sourced in the video. The video cites "14 times more likely to commit rape", "30 times more likely to become homeless"; these are not addressed by your link and are made up as far as I can find. Additionally, the link you provided disagrees with the video. The video says "12 times more likely to be incarcerated", your link says "20 times more likely". So your link not only doesn't back up the video, it further contradicts it.

Denial is a natural emotion, but I think the facts speak for themselves , a society is underpinned by the Family..The Tribe..The nation. Its always been so. The Family is under severe stress for many reasons, as it underpins the rest. If you haven't got a place to raise a family, because the jobs are not there. Go figure. Anyway the collapse is underway and gaining speed. Its already happened in many countries , since Wall street is the world capital of finance, its only logical the periphery of this empire will collapse first. The collapse of a Fiat system is inevitable, the timing is when it cant deliver. Which is about now.
