It means I have a brain and a uterus and the former decides.

And this argument is useless and absurd.

Do these anti abortion people do anything about it other than attack women? Do they provide financial help to women who worry about supporting a child? Do they fund research in to effective forms of contraception for men and women?

These pro murder women should fund it themselves instead of relying on tax money to fund Planned Parenthood. Some people can not support abortion because of their religion yet they are forced to help fund it. Why is the left all about free stuff nowadays and taking stuff from others by force and giving to others, by force.

Our church has a pro-life committee who raises funds for a local maternity home for homeless or at risk of being homeless for mom and their kids. They have transitional housing for one year.

Locally we have an organization that accepts all sorts of baby items, cribs, high chair, safety seats, clothing, etc. and gives it away to anyone who walks through their door. It's a building wall to wall full of stuff.

Personally, I hosted a shower for a mother who chose life at an abortion clinic. She was overwhelmed with the generosity of strangers. About 30 women showed up.

My parish has a food pantry that feed several hundred families every week. Many are single parent families. Our church has a social service that provides $ for rent, medicine and help with utilities. We have a support group for women.

Not sayin' every parish does this much, but alot of good stuff gets done in this world you never hear about.

Birthright hosts sleeper drives and perhaps other drives I am not aware of (sleepers are baby/toddler pajamas).

Re: birth control research:
The Catholic Church promotes Natural Family Planning and has certified instructors. There are several methods and I am not talking about the rhythm method.

I have never met an active pro-lifer who had malice towards a woman who aborted. Sorry if you have. Judge not lest ye shall be judged.

Sign me, a former pregnancy counselor for a Catholic organization which served the needs of women who kept their babies and the ones who gave them up for adoption.
