I'm glad you've recognized that saying things like "YOU STUPID!" is indeed an exercise in futility.

It's ironic where I called your 'view' and a subsequent 'post' stupid, you convert that into me calling YOU stupid. Aren't you an adult capable of reading?

But a 10 year old boy is expected not to take it personally when SNL explicitly says he'll be the nation's first homeschool shooter.

Lol. Now THAT is comedy.

I wondered if Barron would get away Scot free after making another public appearance. Too much to hope for, obviously.

Poor kid, he seems to have become some sort of scapegoat. I suppose he fits the bill well enough, especially with being too young to defend himself. He's ten for all he looks a few years older.

Picking on a ten year old is beyond the pale. This particular one has turned up on two massive occasions, smartly dressed and well-behaved. Better behaved than a few of the adults actually, some of whom had a face like a slapped backside yesterday.

I hope something can be done to put a stop to all the bullying. These idiots who pick on him ought to remember who his Dad is before they risk having him come round to complain.

I'm sure you thought it was amusing when bullies picked on kids in school, too. You know, that really funny stuff like knocking them over in the hallway, or scattering their books after knock 'em out of their hands.

Really cool stuff like that.

Funny, right?

Once again, nuance is lost on you.

"YOU STUPID" was me poking fun at your choice of argument by leveraging a bit of "cave man speak."

But a 10 year old boy is expected not to take it personally when SNL explicitly says he'll be the nation's first homeschool shooter.

I like your use of the word "explicitly." It makes me take you more seriously.

As far as what a 10 year old boy does or doesn't take seriously, someone should probably explain to him that the joke is about DAD.

Lol. Now THAT is comedy.

Your lack of familiarity with comedy continues to be a problem...

Yeah. A joke. In extraordinary bad taste, even by SNL's current standards.

I'll give you "extraordinary bad taste," provided we don't pretend there's anything unusual about this type of humor, or that anyone should be surprised that this came from an SNL comedian.

Dude, there are like 2 people in here defending these remarks. I'm one of them. And I'm not a democrat.

And rightly so.

Nothing gets my blood boiling more than to see children victimized by adults.

Minor children are off limits. Period.

I'm sure we've all experienced some kind of bulling growing up, you know like being made fun of because of your height, or not being able to walk on sidewalks going home from school.

We grow up and it makes us better people, and now I enjoy walking on the grass.

...and those were just as wrong as this.

...and the "jokes" and commentary about the Obama's children.

...and on and on and on. The kids didn't ask for this crap. Leave them out of it. But apparently that's too much to ask for. ...and people wonder why we have the political "leadership" we do. Wonder no more.

Personally, I am very anti-bullying.

And I was quick to call out Rosie for her BS comments about Barron being autistic.

I just happen to have interpreted this joke very differently than 90% of the people in this thread. I suspect my interpretation is the way it was intended. If the jokester was motivated by Barron's appearance or behavior (which I doubt was the case), then I take back the things I've said in this thread.

But that's not how I read the joke. The way I read it, it's pretty standard fare, and it's about being trapped in the Trump Household driving the kid crazy.

Some kind of bullying... So that makes this OK, then?

So, I'm sorry it doesn't make it any sorts of OK. This stupid harridan wouldn't have the necessary courage to say it to this kid, much less his parents...

So courageous, in fact, that she ducks and covers. Deletes the post, and converts here account to private. I call that not only a bully, but a coward.

You go ahead and walk on your damned grass. I'm going to call the bitch out. I despise bullies of any sort.

Like what?

A Executive order sending her to GITMO?

A ban on any criticism of the presidential family?

A ban on criticism of any rich child?

A ban on criticism of any child?

What was said was not funny and in bad taste.

But the this sad excuse for a person does have the constitutional right to say what she wants.
