I'm glad you agree these folks are boneheads.

I agree with you OP. It did look fake or at least like someone put the kid up to it and told him what to say more or less. Still stupid no matter what the reason or how it came about.

Yes there is a great difference between playing with fire and starting a fire, particularly on public land even more so at the Capitol...does that escape you?

So a kid starts a fire.

OK.

And?

Lots of kids play with fire, most eventually get burned. Including myself lol.

Here in the US, building a fire on a city street is not acceptable.
If it was an adult under normal circumstances, the perpetrator would be arrested.

Who is that supposed to be burning next to Obama in that picture? And is that at the Westboro Baptist Church?

No clue. All I see are people protesting Obama, some setting things on fire.

Does the fact he is 12 YEARS OLD escape you?

That's why we don't treat kids like adults, as they are considered to be not mature enough to make good decisions.

Lets not forget that it's a 12 YEAR OLD KID we are talking about.

If he's going to start a fire he could've set himself ablaze, at least. Then I could almost take him seriously, almost. Probably not, though, but much more entertaining.

AKA a "real" protest..

Oh come on, that's a childish insult.

We all know perfectly well the anti-Obama people said a lot of terrible things too. Worse than anything that's being said about Trump.

The precious snowflakeism of Trump supporters who can't stand the idea of anybody saying anything mean about the man is starting to be pretty pathetic.

These are the most important words in the entire OP.

Well you make a good point there. He does represent the average mental age of "progressives".

That was actually my first thought, watching this kid.
It reminded me of a deeply racist, stereotypical, southern family, who's children are born and bred racist, with no independent thought on the issue until they are grown, where most of the time, the damage is done.
It's like the bell-curve poster was talking about.

It's super strange what we are seeing though ..
Racists, protesting Obama on one hand, and on the other, people protesting because they believe someone else to be racist.
Strange times.

Yeah, where is is coat?? Maybe why that's the real reason for the fire... something fishy going on here.
My guess his parents are the people with the masks on behind him... Hopefully, anyway.

Strange right?
He reminded me of an actor, or some kid trying to get some quick fame.

Where are his parents? If he can't be trusted to make the decision of whether or not it is good to start a fire in the middle of a city street.... maybe he is in need of some guidance.
