The choosing of picks isn't a fantasy, but the doom-mongering in regards to the future is.

Since you're talking about what "may" happen in the future, that outlook is just as valid as yours. And it will be until the Trump presidency goes one way or the other.

That's the lesson. Protest when there is injustice, not when there isn't. Meanwhile, there are instances of injustice everywhere, for instance the threats against the lives of inauguration performers, with not a peep but the cackling of partisan hyenas.

It is okay to threaten the lives of people who don't think the same as you.

At least it's okay for anti-Trump protestors. . . . . and ISIS.

Not to mention the racism.

Just as I described. Selective justice. If it isn't a benefit to their cause they could care less. That isn't justice, It's called an agenda.

Ok then. So you support the protesters fully, right? That would be justice. Otherwise, you just have an agenda, and your opinion doesn't matter, right?

Couldn't be any hypocrisy here, could it?

The popular term to describe anyone of color who doesn't obey the leftist edict is "mediocre negro", I believe.

Then please o wise one, tell us what shall we do?

Next cycle, if both candidates are trash, and the alternatives are garbage, what can we do so you will not call us stupid oh great one.

Don't vote for trash. Why did you compromise on principles in order to vote for the lesser trash?

Haha, get over yourself. People have to make decisions, you won't agree with all or most of them but that doesn't make you right.

I never said it did make me "right".

So while you are the shining beacon of perfection, just promise me that in your dark room slamming away on the keyboard the monitors light doesn't illuminate your frown and dissatisfaction for the rest of us pleebians.

I'm not very good at responding to emotional outbursts. You have to come-up with something with a bit more substance for me to reply to.

Words are cheap, deeds eternal.

What has he done as president that offends you? What executive actions has he implemented that concern you?

Do you judge the outgoing potus by his words, rather than his actions? 'You can keep your doctor' you know.

What is it that Trump has done as President that has you talking about a new "Golden Age" again? Oh, that's right, not a damn thing. You're making a prediction about the future of the country during Trump's presidency based on his words and what you believe he'll do.

What about that is any more reasonable than other people making predictions about the future of the country during Trump's presidency based on his words and what they believe he'll do?

There will be those who attend balls and the like and there will be those who attend protests. Neither one of them is acting upon knowledge of deeds that haven't happened.

And the popular term to describe anyone who doesn't obey the Trump edict is 'libtard' or 'snowflake' or 'pathetic liberal', I believe.

We can point out the hypocricies coming from both sides all night if you'd like.

That doesn't make it a talking point for candidates IMO.

That's like tanning frequently, smoking, and engaging in other unhealthy acts and then treating the cancer.

The only reason I said it could be a talking point is because we've responded to terrorism much like Germany did DURING Hitler's rise.
The NSA and mass surveillance.
The patriot act (mainly allowing secret evidence in court, not needing warrants and allowing for the assassination of citizens) .

Those are what are the talking points, not throwing around the idea someone could be the next Hitler with no evidence to support such claims, even if just "talking points" as you eloquently put comparing people to a psychopathic tyrannical dictator and executioner.

Yet I am not defending a candidate here, I am saying why I think the people in the protests are protesting. And I agree, some of the REAL talking points are as you suggest, the NSA, Homeland Security, mass surveillance etc. Yet please to not make the mistake that a large number of liberals are not also very concerned with these issues. They are. And they are very very concerned with these powers in the hands of Donald Trump. And even though so many DO not see the comparisons of Hitler and Trump, to the protesters they are very similar.

You're still playing stupid I see. You know exactly what they are protesting, they are protesting Trump because they believe he is a terrible human being and they don't want a terrible human being running their country. They look at his past and see what a terrible human being he is and are opposed to what kind of person he is.

You can call me stupid until the cows come home yet it is you that STILL can't answer a simple question....
What is it that the protesters want to see happen? What is the action they want to take place?

If they are protesting because we think he's not nice that's fine except there should be no expectation of a result for their efforts.

I'm glad that essentially, even if you won't acknowledge it, you agree with me that they are protesting for the sake of protesting and just to b-tch and moan. There is no specific action they are seeking. There is no proposal they are offering. They are just protesting.

I support their right to say whatever they want in a peaceful and civil manner. I do not support violence, property destruction, and shouting down anybody that thinks differently. I don't support the entertainment industry blacklisting those that wish to involve themselves in any way with Trump. I have no idea what hypocrisy youre mentioning, because I can only speak for myself

I agree, he hasn't done anything yet.... positive or negative.

But I must point out... they gave Obama a Freaking Nobel Peace Prize for talking smack and doing exactly the opposite.

They (the leftists, the protestors) want to see Trump dead. They want to see Trump gone. Removed. Killed.

Hate to be that guy, but no one else will say it.

I didn't call you stupid, I said you are playing stupid. Big difference.

What is it we have been hearing for the past 8 years? Bitching and moaning for the sake of bitching and moaning because 'Obama'.

Please, stop ignoring the past because the right is just as guilty as the left for bitching and moaning.
